Born into acreage living, I have been around animals virtually my whole life. Since I was old enough to help around the house, I have been taking care of animals. Rest assured - I treat each one with empathy, respect, and kindness as any living being should be cared for. I have a wide range of experience in animal care including (but not limited to) dogs and cats (of all ages), hedgehogs, reptiles, turtles, birds, rabbits, and a wide range of livestock. For friends and family, I have been the go-to pet sitter for weekends and vacations.

I offer services in caring for your pet in your home, as well as outings for those needing time away. Every animal is different, so I take my time to get to know their individual needs, temperament, quirks, and specialized care plan. Communication with you is important - I will ask questions, never have an unfamiliar animal interacting with your pet, will always maintain a safety-first perspective when caring for them both in your home and out-of-house.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Exceptional Cat Sitter - Highly Recommended! Christen recently looked after my cat, Nico, for 10 days, and I couldn't be happier with the care she provided. Nico is a shy, nervous cat who isn't overly friendly with new people, so I was amazed at how quickly Christen gained her trust and made friends with her. Throughout my trip, she regularly sent photos and updates, and it was wonderful to see how comfortable and relaxed Nico became in her care. Those messages gave me tremendous peace of mind while I was away. I especially appreciated Christen's attentiveness when Nico experienced some tummy issues. She contacted me right away, and together we were able to determine that the culprit was some bad indoor grass. Her communication and concern demonstrated how genuinely invested she was in Nico's well-being. When I returned home, my house was clean, tidy, and exactly as I had left it. Most importantly, Nico was happy, healthy, and clearly well cared for. In fact, she seemed to be looking around for Christen after I got home, which says more than anything I could write about the bond she formed with Nico during her stay! I would not hesitate to recommend Christen to anyone looking for a reliable, caring, and professional pet sitter. She went above and beyond, and I will absolutely be a repeat client. Christen took excellent care looking after our cat while we were away for a week! She communicated clearly and promptly and was a pleasure to deal with. Our cat loved her too!

Schedule
I work a flexible schedule of 8:30am-5pm, Monday to Friday. This flexibility offers the ability to check on your animal and provide pet care throughout the day (within reason) based on the individual animal’s needs. Weekends are open to 24/7 animal support and care ❤️
