I work a flexible schedule of 8:30am-5pm, Monday to Friday. This flexibility offers the ability to check on your animal and provide pet care throughout the day (within reason) based on the individual animal’s needs. Weekends are open to 24/7 animal support and care ❤️

Every animal is different, so I take my time to get to know their individual needs, temperament, quirks, and specialized care plan. I tailors the typical day to your dog’s individual needs and energy levels. I love to learn their favorite toys and activities, implementing that into their day. Walks are always enjoyed, providing ample time to experience the fresh air, new smells, and an appropriate level of exercise to their individual needs.

Pet care experience
Born into acreage living, I have been around animals virtually my whole life. Since I was old enough to help around the house, I have been taking care of animals. Rest assured - I treat each one with empathy, respect, and kindness as any living being should be cared for. I have a wide range of experience in animal care including (but not limited to) dogs and cats (of all ages), hedgehogs, reptiles, turtles, birds, rabbits, and a wide range of livestock. For friends and family, I have been the go-to pet sitter for weekends and vacations.

Christen is a very kind, gentle person who has always been wonderful with animals. She is so kind and considerate with my cat, very trust worthy person. She has an excellent demeanour to work with animals. Very respectful person, and has always gone above and beyond for every job!
Anybody would be lucky to have Christen look after their pets. She is so gentle and compassionate. She has looked after our cat, and she is very conscientious. She makes sure that the pet always has food, and that her kitty litter is always clean. She loves pets, and is very affectionate with them. She loves to cuddle with them if the pet likes to cuddle, but will also give the pet space if the animal does not like to be cuddled. Christen has looked after our daughter’s dogs, and again, she is very responsible and treats the pet like she would treat her own. She loves taking them for walks whether in the city, country or mountains. She just likes spending time with them. I would recommend Christen to anybody!
I’ve seen Christen dog sit and care for others’ pets and would highly recommend her. Her love and care for animals mixed with her reliability is evident in how she treats pets. She’s engaging, giving them lots of attention, and trustworthy in judgement. She takes time and effort to make sure pets feel comfortable and safe in her care, and she consistently goes above and beyond to do so. Your pet will love spending time with Christen!
Christen is the absolute best dog sitter we’ve had! Our pup, Olive, is so excited every time she sees Christen and I know she is in great hands. We’ve had other dog sitters in the past but none compare to Christen. She brings special dog treats, has done a bit of leash training, and makes sure our high-energy pup stays active. Highly recommend Christen!
