Cozy Home Doggy Daycare & Boarding

I intentionally keep my care small and calm—no more than four dogs at a time—so each pup gets real attention, not just supervision. My home isn’t a busy kennel; it’s a cozy, structured environment with consistent routines, supervised play, rest breaks, and plenty of affection. I live on a fully fenced quarter-acre lot, giving dogs plenty of space to safely play, explore, and burn energy outdoors while still enjoying a peaceful home setting. I prioritize crate-trained dogs, which helps maintain a calm, safe environment for everyone. With clear expectations, set hours, and a loving home atmosphere, dogs settle in quickly and feel secure—so you can leave them with confidence.

I’m happy to recommend Chris’iana as a caring and trustworthy pet sitter and dog walker. When I first got my puppy, she was incredibly patient and hands-on showing me how to calm her, set routines, and teach good habits. Thanks to her guidance, my pet, is so well-behaved. She truly loves dogs, and her kids are just as gentle and friendly with animals. With Chris’iana, you can feel confident your pets are safe, loved, and in great hands.

Schedule

I’m a stay-at-home mom, which means I’m home throughout the day and able to provide consistent supervision, structure, and hands-on care. Dogs are never left unattended for long periods, and their needs—play, rest, potty breaks, and comfort—are part of our daily routine. Because I’m home, I can keep a predictable schedule that helps dogs feel settled and secure. This setup is especially great for dogs who thrive with routine, personal attention, and a calm home environment rather than a high-volume facility. My schedule allows me to be fully present, responsive, and intentional with every dog in my care.

Safety, trust & environment

I care for dogs in my home with a strong focus on safety, structure, and trust. I maintain a small pack (no more than four dogs) to ensure close supervision and a calm environment. Dogs are never left unsupervised outdoors and always remain within our fully fenced quarter-acre yard during outside time. Inside the home, dogs follow consistent routines that include supervised play, scheduled potty breaks, rest periods, and downtime. I require dogs to be crate trained, which helps keep transitions smooth and ensures every dog has a safe, familiar space to relax. I take time to learn each dog’s personality, energy level, and needs so I can provide appropriate care and enrichment. Clear communication, intentional routines, and a home-based environment allow dogs to feel secure and settled while in my care.

A typical day

Our day starts with a calm morning routine, including potty breaks and a relaxed transition into the day. Dogs are welcomed into a small-pack environment where they can settle in comfortably and get familiar with the space. Throughout the day, dogs enjoy supervised outdoor time in our fully fenced yard, along with indoor play, enrichment, and plenty of rest breaks. I follow consistent routines so dogs know what to expect, which helps them feel secure and relaxed. Meals and medication (if needed) are handled according to each dog’s individual instructions. Quiet time and crate breaks are built into the day to prevent overstimulation and encourage balance. As the day winds down, dogs enjoy a final round of outdoor time, calm indoor activities, and a smooth transition into evening routines for those staying overnight. My goal is for every dog to feel safe, comfortable, and cared for—just like they would at home.

To make sure every dog has a safe, comfortable stay, I like to learn a bit about each pet ahead of time, including: -Your dog’s daily routine and energy level -Feeding schedule, portions, and any food sensitivities -Whether your dog is crate trained and how they do during rest time -How your dog interacts with other dogs (play style, boundaries) -Any behavioral quirks, fears, or triggers (ex: anxiety, resource guarding) -Medical needs, medications, or allergies -Recent training experience or commands your dog knows -Potty habits and any accident history Anything that helps your dog feel comfortable and secure in a new environment The more I know in advance, the better I can tailor care and ensure a smooth, stress-free experience for everyone.
