I have extensive experience caring for both puppies and adult dogs of all breeds, including those with special medical needs that may require administering medications. I’m also very comfortable with dogs who may be shy or timid and need a little extra patience and care. Your dog’s safety, comfort, and happiness are always my top priorities, and I pride myself on being punctual and dependable. Although I work full-time, my schedule only takes up a small portion of the day, and I have the flexibility to come and go as needed to ensure your dog’s needs are fully met. If your pup requires extra care or attention, I am more than happy to accommodate. My home is pet-friendly and welcoming, with a securely fenced backyard where dogs can safely play and explore. I share my home with my own friendly dog, who loves making new friends. Together, we create a safe, fun, and loving environment for visiting pups to feel right at home.

Christa fid an excellent job taking care of our Chewy and kept us updated on how his week was going. Wouldn't hesitate on using her again.
Christa was great with Sadie and Brody. She was able to release Brody’s puppy energy while also being attentive to Sadie’s cat like laid back personality. She was very responsive as well. Especially when I was missing my babies We will definitely be asking her to return when we have upcoming travels.
She did great with our German Sheppard. She sends updates through out the stay and is responsive for anything you may need. Highly recommend.
Christa took great care of my fur baby! Sent updates and videos! Our Rosie girl had the best time and played her heart out. She was tuckered out when she got home. Will definitely book with her again!

We were so worried about leaving SaraBella with a new sitter as we have only lived here one month. But she was exceptional! She sent pictures, texted and kept a log of when SaraBella ate and went to the bathroom. I highly recommend Christa and will continue to use her.

Schedule
Pet care is a natural part of my daily routine. I make sure my dog gets at least an hour of exercise every day, whether that’s through walks, playtime, or a mix of both. On weekends, I love taking my pup on longer adventures or extended walks to keep things fun and enriching. Caring for pets isn’t something I have to “fit in”—it’s a priority and an enjoyable part of my lifestyle.

In my home, pets are treated like family. I provide a safe, pet-friendly environment with a fenced backyard for play and plenty of supervised attention throughout the day. I make sure visiting dogs feel comfortable and cared for, whether that’s through regular walks, playtime, or simply giving them the affection they need. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I do my best to keep their routine consistent and familiar. That includes feeding, exercise, administering medications if needed, and, of course, spending quality time with them so they feel secure while their family is away. My goal in either setting is to give pets the same love and attention I give my own.

A typical day
In Texarkana, we’re fortunate to have plenty of pet-friendly places to enjoy! I love taking my dog on the many beautiful trails around town, especially those that wind along creeks, ponds, and lakes like Spring Lake Park or Bringle Lake—it’s a great way for dogs to get exercise while exploring new sights and smells. The local dog park is another favorite spot, with separate areas for small and large dogs so every pup can play safely and have fun. Whether it’s a neighborhood walk, a park adventure, or a quiet trail, I make sure dogs in my care get the exercise, enrichment, and fresh air they need.
