Love, play, and two walks a day!

My husband and I have taken care of dogs ever since we were kids, and our three girls have inherited our love for dogs as well. We regularly take care of dogs for friends, family, and neighbors and we'd love to have your pet join our pack! We're happy to do a free meet-and-greet anytime. Just send us a message and let's meet up! We are home full time thanks to telework. Your dog will have plenty of attention while staying at our home. For pooches staying at their own homes, we can do lunchtime and evening walking and drop-in visits in the Frederick/Middletown area. Our happy home is on 2 wooded acres on Braddock Mountain near Middletown. The yard offers plenty of space to run and play, and walking trails through the woods allow for adventures close to home. Not only will your pup have the run of the house, but we even have a dog room with comfy dog beds and toys for those pets that prefer a quiet space of their own. We don't have any other pets at this time, so there will be no competition for human cuddles. We'll take your pup on 2 walks around the neighborhood each day at lunchtime and in the evening. We frequently visit nearby parks and can't wait to bring your pup on adventures with us.

Christa and family continue to be such wonderful hosts for Molly! They take care of her as if she was their own! They're are very communicative, send the cutest photos, and follow Molly's care instructions. We appreciate having them as our go-to for Molly's care because it takes for a stress-free time away!
Our dog loved her stay at Christa and Patrick’s. Their girls showered our dog with affection, and Christa sent us daily pictures during our ten days away. We will definitely use them if we go away again.
This was Molly's second stay with Christa and Patrick, and she had another wonderful visit! They sent lots of photos and took Molly to have lots of fun on long walks. We felt completely at ease during her stay as they were in constant communication with us to let us know how she was doing. Schedule
Thanks to telework and virtual school, your pup will have company in our home most of the day. We even bring your pup along when it makes sense when we leave the house (track practice, going to the park, etc) because dogs make everything better!

Safety, trust & environment
We don't have any other pets at this time, so there's no need to worry if your pup will get along with other animals. We have a 2-year-old toddler so our house is already baby-proofed which is great for both little kids and dogs alike!
A typical day
Does your dog like walks, runs, or splashes in the creek? So do we! We are an active family that's always on the move. We love going on adventures in the Frederick/Middletown area, and bringing furry friends along is always more fun. We visit the miles of trails around Middletown Park and play in the Catoctin Creek at Wiles Branch Park whenever we can. Our own backyard has 2 wooded acres with walking trails too, and the nearby neighborhood offers a safe and beautiful place to walk. Everyday we'll take your pup on two walks.
