WFH all day pet care
I work from home, so I have a pretty flexible schedule for drop-in visits, walks, and house sitting. I love being able to give pets more than just a quick check-in, whether that’s extra playtime, a walk, or just hanging out and keeping them company. I have a 3-year-old Bernese Mountain Dog that I raised from a puppy, so I’m very comfortable with routines, training basics, and reading dog behavior. I also grew up with both cats and dogs, and I’m happy caring for pets of all ages, sizes, and personalities. I treat every pet like they’re my own and want you to feel totally at ease knowing they’re in good hands. I’m usually in the office on Wednesdays, but I can often be flexible if needed, just let me know!

Safety, trust & environment
When caring for pets in your home, I do my best to keep their routine as normal and comfortable as possible. That might mean sticking to feeding schedules, favorite walking routes, or just their usual hangout spots. I’m very attentive to each pet’s personality and needs, whether they’re high energy and playful or more independent and low key. I’m happy to follow any specific instructions you have, including crating, medications, or any special routines. I also make sure to keep you updated with photos and little check-ins so you can feel confident and at ease while you’re away. My goal is for your pet to feel safe, relaxed, and well cared for in their own space, and for you to have total peace of mind.

Christa was amazing with both of my pets! She was highly responsive, a clear communicator, and incredibly loving and attentive with my fur babies. I have a cat and a husky, both quite high maintenance, and she was always on top of walks, playtime, and snuggle time. Most importantly, Christa made me feel completely at ease leaving my pets in her care, even though we had just met. I’m so grateful to have found someone so wonderful so quickly, and I would highly recommend Christa to anyone!
Christa has been watching our dog River for a couple of years now, and we can’t say enough great things about her! She’s trustworthy, attentive, loving to our pup, and reliable every time. Her dog Rue is also so friendly and River has the best time with her, even though she’s typically a little nervous with other dogs.
Christa looked after my Jack Russell Terrier when I was away on basketball trips this year and I felt at ease knowing he was in the hands of someone who cared about him just as much as I do. Christa is an animal lover and an extremely kind soul to all living beings. She's very responsible handling different magazines at UO while maintaining a 3.8+ GPA and graduating this spring. She's in great shape and will be able to keep up with all size dogs with all different energy levels.

Schedule
I work from home Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, which gives me a lot of flexibility for drop-in visits, walks, and house sitting. I’m also available on weekends and can often be flexible on Wednesdays if needed. For house sitting, I’m happy to spend extended time in your home to keep your pet company and maintain their normal routine as much as possible.
