Hi! I’m a lifelong dog lover who grew up with four dogs, a German Shepherd, two medium-sized mixed breeds, and a Chihuahua, so I’m comfortable with dogs of all sizes and personalities. I’ve also pet sat for neighbors’ dogs and understand how important it is to keep pets on their normal routine. I love spending time with dogs and will make sure your pet feels safe, happy, and well cared for while you’re away. I am also a triathlete and would love to take your dog on a run/trail run if they are very active!

Christa took excellent care of our cats while we were away. I could tell she truly cared for them and was very communicative about how they were doing. She was attentive to their individual needs and provided detailed updates. Our cats seemed to take to her instantly. We hope she can continue to care for our cats in the future.
Christa went above and beyond while taking care of our dog. In just four days, our dog was more active with her than she had been with us all month. We highly recommend Christa, our dog absolutely loved her!
My dog has a lot of energy, and Christa is one of the only people I know who can truly keep up with him. She’s really athletic and great about taking dogs on long walks or runs so they actually get their energy out. She’s also spent time just hanging out with my dog when I’ve had long work days because he doesn’t love being alone all day. She’s very responsive, flexible with her schedule, and someone I fully trust with my dog.

I am currently a part time university student so I have plenty of time to spend with your pets! I am also fully available on Fridays and the weekends!

When caring for pets in your home, my goal is to keep their routine as normal and comfortable as possible. I will follow your instructions closely for feeding, walks, playtime, and any other care your pet needs. I also make sure pets get plenty of attention and companionship so they feel safe while you’re away. I’ll treat your home and your pets with respect and care, just like they’re my own.
A typical day
I’m a very active person and love spending time outside, so if your dog enjoys being on the move, we’ll have a great time together! I’m happy to take dogs on long walks, hikes, or outdoor adventures to keep them exercised and stimulated. If your dog is older or prefers a slower pace, that’s great too. I’m just as happy to spend a relaxed day with them, keeping them company, giving them attention, and making sure they feel comfortable and cared for. I often do homework or read during downtime, so your dog will always have someone nearby and won’t feel alone. There’s no extra cost for that extra companionship, I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals.
