Attention, patience, and love!
I am an experienced lifelong animal lover! In addition to caring for my own cats and dogs, since age 12 I have pet sat for friends & neighbors and connected with different species including hamsters, fish, tortoises, turtles, rabbits, and chickens. I understand the importance of social connection, mental stimulation, & physical exercise for our furry friends, and different ways to meet these needs based on each individual pet. I have 5+ years' experience of working in veterinary clinics as a receptionist & front desk manager, and I am professionally trained to recognize the first signs of illness or discomfort. I am very comfortable with & capable of caring for pets with medical conditions or injuries, monitoring symptoms, and administering medications by mouth. Working under veterinarians has also taught me about general pet care, basic training, and local resources such as emergency & specialty vets. I am extremely passionate about geriatric pets. I have experience in caring for older cats & dogs and prioritizing their comfort while still meeting their basic needs and providing necessary treatments.

My main goal is to build trust and rapport with pets. For those who are slower to warm up, I'm willing to play the long game! My experience in the vet field has trained me to be cognizant of potential hazards in the environment. I have experience with crate training.

Chrissy is so good with our skiddish senior kitty. She keeps us updated on how everything is going while we're traveling whether the kitty makes an appearance for not.

Schedule
I typically work on weekdays, so I am available for visits in the mornings and late evenings. I usually have more free time on the weekends. My work schedule may vary. You are more than welcome to message me anytime to ask questions or clarify your needs :)
