Safety, trust & environment

I treat all other dogs the same way I treat my own 2 pups. There is no such thing as a bad dog or cat, just those that need more patience. The first thing I do when I wake up every morning is let my 2 pups out and feed them. My dogs are crate trained but I work with dogs that are loose throughout the day. If caring for another’s pups/cats, they will be extra spoiled while under my care. When under my care, their well-being takes priority over all else.

Information Chris S. would like to know about your pet

I would need to know about Medication needs, dietary restrictions, allergies, energy levels, and things they like to do. Getting to know a dog by meeting them in advance of long term care is also extremely important.

A typical day

While everything depends on the dogs age, breed, and home, I can do many things with dogs. Whether it’s a walk in the park, or just running them around your back yard, I can keep active dogs active and calmer dogs more relaxed activities. I treat other people’s dogs the way I treat my own, I spoil them constantly.

Experienced dog and cat caregiver.

Pet care experience

I started taking care of dogs when I was just in middle school walking a dog named Buddy for an elderly couple in my neighborhood in Dallas, Texas. Fast forward to college, I worked for a year at a dog daycare/boarding facility. I have always loved working with dogs and cats as well!

Chris was friendly and professional and gave us many updates on our pup while we were out of town. She and the house were in great shape when we returned. We will definitely ask to work with Chris again! Thank you!

Chris was outstanding! He provided thorough reports and took great photos each visit, and followed my (neurotic) instructions to a tee. The most important thing for me to find on Rover is peace of mind while I am away, and Chris really delivered. Thank you!

He took excellent care of our dog, ensuring our pet felt loved and well-cared for. I highly recommend Chris for anyone looking for a reliable and caring pet caregiver!
