I am a retired teacher/coach who spends most of his days with his two dogs, two cats (and a wife!) puttering about the house and neighborhood enjoying retirement. Long dog walks, softball and exercise are big parts of our day, as is music, reading and a little bit of downtime TV before bed.

At our house we have an invisible fence for our two dogs and the cats stay inside. Both of our dogs love other dogs and having play dates with the family dog "cousins" from our extended family members. The cats aren't quite as big of fans of other dogs and hide accordingly!

Every dog/cat is different a special in its own way, which is what makes them so fun! Anything and everything that helps explain your pet to me is always beneficial and will be incorporated into any visit.
A typical day
Columbia is a great area for dogs - so many areas to explore. The MKT Trail is a favorite of mine, but our dogs also love just sniffing around their own neighborhood, too. Playing ball/fetch or just playing in the yard are always fun and simple activities that dogs love.

Pet care experience
I've never not had a dog or cat, so pet care has always been an important and integral part of my life. Recently retired, I have been fortunate to have the opportunity to spend the days with my own pets but would love to help others who have pets of their own but maybe not as much time as needed, especially with many returning to the workplace. I'll love your pets like I do mine!

Chris is the best! We are repeat customers as Chris does a phenomenal job taking care of Koda! You can’t tell that he is very comfortable around animals. Our dog is a handful and Chris spoils him by playing his favorite games and routine walks. He is timely and we always love getting Kodak’s report cards from each visit which includes pictures. We were able to enjoy our time away and know that Chris is taking good care of our Koda!
