30+ YEARS EXPERIENCE
Hello, I’m Chris and I run a pet services company called K9N8. I live in a spacious, pet‑friendly home just a few streets from Alexandra Palace, and I’ve been surrounded by dogs my entire life. Before moving to London, I owned and ran dog kennels in Buckinghamshire for 19 years, caring for up to 20 dogs at a time and operating a behaviour‑training centre that worked with everything from young puppies to complex behavioural cases. I continue to work with dogs full time here in London. You’ll usually find me walking around Alexandra Palace or Coldfall Woods — I prefer calm, peaceful routes where dogs can relax, explore, and enjoy themselves without the stress of busy footpaths. I sadly lost my lovely Oscar last year at 14, but I still have Skye, my Boxer/Cocker Spaniel mix, who brings plenty of joy to my days. I treat every dog as an individual and make sure they feel safe, understood, and genuinely cared for. I’d love to meet your dog and see how I can help.

Schedule
I offer two structured one‑hour group walks each day in and around Crouch End. I begin collecting dogs for the first walk at around 9am, and we’re usually in the park by 10am for a full hour of exercise time. Once the first group is dropped home, I collect the second set of dogs for their walk. All dogs are safely returned home by around 1pm unless you need afternoon walks of care. Any dogs booked in for daycare are typically collected during the second walk and then come home with me for the afternoon.

Home characteristics
Safety, trust & environment
My home is fully set up for dogs, with plenty of beds, bowls, and comfortable spaces for them to relax. In the warmer months, I keep the back door open while I’m home so dogs can choose between lounging indoors or playing in the secure back garden. The house has laminate flooring throughout, which is ideal for easy cleaning if any accidents happen. Most of the dogs I walk have been with me for years, and together they’ve formed a calm, well‑balanced pack that gets along beautifully. Because of this, all new dogs will need an assessment to ensure they can fit in safely or have the potential to do so with time. Every dog has their own triggers and quirks — I’m very used to working with that — but I’m not able to take on reactive dogs for group walks. If your dog is reactive, I can offer a muzzled solo walk instead.
Pets
A typical day
On a typical day I pick up and walk between six and 10 dogs in two different walks so usually five dogs per walk. I usually have a few dogs that come back home for daycare too.
