Highlights
Pet care experience
Experienced and reliable dog sitter
Whilst waiting for the timing to be right for me to get my own dog, I've been dog-sitting other people's dogs for the past few years, first in London and now in New York where I recently relocated. In addition, I looked after our family dog whilst growing up so have a lot of experience. For the avoidance of doubt, I'm not doing this as a business, I'm offering the lowest rates in the area. My goal is rather to find a good match, and only have 1-2 dogs I sit regularly vs several one-offs.

Ratings and reviews
Chris sent pictures everyday and was accommodating with my scheduling mishaps. I trusted him with my dog.

My dog had a such a fun time with Chris! Chris was attentive and caring and I didn't have to worry a bit about leaving my dog with him! He was also very punctual - overall such a good experience and would definitely rebook next time!

This is our second time with Chris and he’s been AMAZING. He took a really good care of Ollie, and is really communicative. Will definitely use him again whenever we’re back in NYC and will 100% recommend him

Pippy enjoyed another stay with Chris! Thanks for caring for her like your own.

Our Pippy had a great stay with Chris. Being a senior dog, she has a very specific feeding schedule but Chris came through with flying colors. Pippy came home happy and healthy. We highly recommend him!

Chris was an amazing sitter for Charlie...he did his best to make Charlie comfortable and to communicate with me. Will definitely use Chris again.

Schedule
I work from home full-time so can easily fit in regular walks and play during the day and night. On weekends I do a lot of dog-friendly excursions outside NYC, such as hiking in the Catskills or trips to the beaches of Long Island or New Jersey.
Where your pet will stay
Home characteristics
Safety, trust & environment
I live in a modern, safe, clean and quiet 700 sq. ft. apartment from which I have easy access to a traffic-free dog-friendly outdoor space on the ground floor.
A typical day
I live alone and manage my own schedule so I can work around the needs of your dog. I usually start my day by going for a run along the Hudson River Park and then I work from home all day, taking frequent breaks away from the screen to play with the dog, walk the dog, prep meals etc. In the evenings I usually meet up with friends around town for dinner, and I'm happy to bring your dog along if you're happy for it to meet other dogs, be socialised with other people and explore new spaces (in- and outdoors). I usually travel by car (drive myself or Uber) but occasionally by subway if the dog is up for that.
