Pet care experience
Home full time with doggie playmate
We have a busy, loving home with 3 kids, one cat, & two dogs. If your dog loves to be with a busy family, we're the right place for you. I have many years of pet care experience including veterinary care and dog training experience (specifically, I've trained my own dogs through the Petsmart dog training program and passed the Canine Good Citizen test). I'm very comfortable around all types of dogs and animals. I've always treated my pets as part of our family and would always treat any animal in my care with the same devotion. We have three kids (ages 14-16) and they are all used to animals and they are very caring and love to play with all the dogs when they come home from school. The cats can easily avoid the dogs if they want to as they have their own outdoor catio and room. We keep our air conditioner on for our dog already during hot days so any dogs with thick fur will feel very comfortable. There's no carpet in our house so potty issues are easier to manage as well.

Always amazing with our pups
Chris is awesome . She remembers to do the little things that matter for my senior Border Collie. She’s also very flexible with my sometimes shifting schedule .
Ellie, my happy, healthy 16+ yr old Border Collie adores Chris. She spoils her silly by taking her on walks at her favorite park. I have had her walk my gal many times and will continue to have her return!

Schedule
I work from home, so other than errands or short outings the dogs have someone home with them nearly all the time. We have a gated kitchen so dogs can be separated if needed.

We have a large fenced yard with a covered patio and when it’s too hot to be outside, the dogs are in the air conditioned house with us.

A typical day
There's a lovely bike path near our house where I take my dog for walks almost every day. If we can't get to the path for a walk or run, we can go for quicker walks around our neighborhood, which is enclosed (i.e. not near any major roadways). We also have a good sized back yard and covered patio for the dogs to run and play in.
