I've always been an early riser, and morning outings were part of the daily routine for 13 years. I'm currently going back to school for a career change, classes being weekdays 8:30-3:30. Lots of time at home studying and even more excuses to take a break and get outside. Due to injury, I don't go for long distance walks anymore, and no running, but am a very active bike rider, and am comfortable and confident riding with a leash, however my dog was well behaved and seldom wore one.

I have a medium-large fenced yard (4' tall) with lots of space. Indoors is air-conditioned and where they spend the day when I'm not around. Individual needs can easily be met, such as crating, free roaming, or window view (or not). The house is occupied my just myself, lending to a quiet easygoing atmosphere. Our previous dog was large, intact, ate a raw diet, and was unvaccinated, so we are understanding of the values, needs, and concerns.

Please let us know about your dog's existing routines, and behaviors, such as pee times, barking tendencies, prey drive, food intolerances, or any other nuances they may have.
A typical day
I ALWAYS take them out for a walk in the morning to start the day, as well as get an idea if they're feeling on point. They'll generally be in the house on their own until I'm home by 4. Provisions can be made for a mid day outing as well, if required. Then it's out for some air and exercise! We live right near the Glenmore highlands, and know ALL the good spots. As well, never one to shy away from the rain or cold, provided your pup is OK with it too, but every dog has their days.

Raised my best friend from 8 weeks to 13 years (110lb Rhodesian Ridgeback). 2 walks a day, often bike rides. I love playing with 4-legged friends and hanging out on the couch. I have no kids, and currently no other pets. Having a dog for a lifetime, I know what it's like to need someone to look after your buddy for a weekend away, or a vacation, and what it means to have someone care as much as you do

Chris was fantastic - sensitive to Kip's quirks and a wonderful host! When I'm in Kelowna again I'll definitely be booking him in advance!
Chris did an amazing job watching my 2 dogs . He has a big yard, which they loved, and it was clear they were happy and well cared for. I’d definitely trust him to watch them again!! Highly recommend :)
I highly recommend Chris and will be getting him to take care of Rex in the future for sure if he’s available.
I had to find last minute accommodations for Dexter and Chris was super accommodating and responsive! Communicated with me consistently, sent photos, was transparent.
