I’ve grown up with dogs and cats since middle school. There is no better feeling than coming home and hanging out with a pet. As a husky owner I understand the importance of patience, training, respecting a pet’s boundaries and the need for a variety of physical and mental exercise. When I adopted my dog he was still a pup and underweight due to the prior owners negligence. With my previous experience and training from the world class rescue which I adopted him from aided in his recovery and now flourishing life. Every pet has a different personality and preference and I firmly believe that should be respected. Our job as sitters and good humans is to provide comfort for animals while keeping them safe and honoring their individuality.

Safety, trust & environment
We have a fenced yard with a multitude of walking paths and dog park near by so depending on your preference we can accommodate your dogs activity preference. We do have a dog and cat so if I am boarding I ask that your pet is both cat and dog friendly. Our dog is crate trained and respectful of the cat’s space so I would expect the same from your pet as well. If I am house sitting, your rules apply I don’t want to disrupt the pets routine.

Chris stayed in my home and watched my cat a few different times while I’ve been on vacation. She has separation anxiety and gets really anxious when I leave, but she cozied right up to him while I was gone. Chris made sure to send updates for my peace of mind. When I returned, she was so calm and not her usual anxious self, which tells me she was comfortable and happy while Chris was staying with her. I highly recommend Chris if you’re looking for someone warm, patient, and compassionate to watch your pets!

Schedule
I work from home so keeping your pet company shouldn’t be much of a problem. I am also available most weekends and holidays. I’m more than willing to be flexible and accommodate as much as possible.
