Experienced foster mom near GGP!
Hi! I’m an experienced foster dog parent and Rover dog sitter. I have fostered four dogs, each for up to two months at a time. I currently have no foster pup and don’t have a resident dog, so your dog will be the only dog in my home. I have experience fostering both younger and senior dogs (including hospice care, partially deaf and blind dogs). I work from home so your dog will seldom be alone, and can take them on walks every 4 hours (4 walks a day) with lots of play time. I am also in a very dog-friendly area, minutes from GGP and Mountain Lake Park. I never take dogs to dog parks and do everything to make your dog feel at home! NOTE: Due to my building’s weight limits I can only board dogs 15lbs or under.

Chris was great and very accommodating! She helped us out Thanksgiving week while we were away and she kept us updated as the week went on. Everything went smoothly with drop off and pick up being easy. Opie looked happy throughout his stay! Thanks Chris!
This was the second time we left our doggie Maya with Chris and we would definitely do it again, because Maya was very well taken care of. And the pictures Chris sent from their time together were super cute.
Maya enjoyed her stay with Chris very much! We had daily updates and pictures. I believe Maya made a new bestie!
Chris loves dogs, but then again most people do. What makes Chris stand out is her obvious intelligence around dogs. When she was walking my dog Crito (adopted from a shelter, likely a silky terrier), I could see she knew just the right amount of patience for Crito to explore, have fun and do dog things balanced with an appropriate amount of discipline to keep Crito safe and clean . I've also seen her handle larger dogs with the same balance, love and care. These characteristics make Chris a great candidate to be a dog sitter for any dog you want kept safe while having fun and being loved.

I work from home which gives me the flexibility to give your dog lots of attention and ample availability to walk or visit your dog throughout the day!

Safety, trust & environment
With my attentiveness and experience, I make sure your dog has a fun, safe time with me. I avoid other dogs and children. I always keep dogs on leash during walks, and I don’t go to dog parks/off leash areas.
A typical day
I have lots of toys for indoor playtime and enrichment. For walks, I am close to GGP and the Presidio, and can take various routes in each park. My neighborhood is also quieter and dog-friendly so alternatively I like doing loops on the surrounding streets. There are lots of choices for walks! I can also take pups to Ocean Beach (on leash).
