Pet care experience
Local family loves pets!
Chris is a local firefighter and EMT, and Ellen is a fourth grade teacher. Chris grew up with dogs and cats, while Ellen had cats and got her first dog when she was engaged to Chris. Currently we have a black lab pup named Whitley and two rescued cats, in addition to our two animal-loving human kiddos. Whitley is always looking for playmates!

Chris and Ellen their family and dog Whitley were perfect hosts for our Mia for a long weekend. Their fenced yard is fantastic and the dogs are able to run and play freely. They are very nurturing toward our dog and we were at ease knowing she was in such capable hands. We appreciated the photos and updates throughout. Thank you for taking such good care of our girl. We would highly recommend their services!
Chris and Ellen were excellent to work with throughout the whole booking and care process. They have a great backyard and a friendly dog that played for hours with our Lab. I would highly recommend them if you need a sitter for your dog.
Ellen and Chris provided a great 5 night boarding experience for Remi. We met for a brief intro/walk thru to ensure Remi and the host puppy were compatible. The yard is amazing and perfect for dogs to run around freely. Option to leverage the host sleeping crate or provide our own. Just a very relaxed setting that removed all stress when boarding Remi for her first multi night sleep-over!
Couldn't be happier with Chris and Ellen! Not only did they proactively provide updates and pictures (without having to ask), they also went above and beyond taking our (dog) girl to the vet so we could start her on meds early due to a minor skin issue that popped up. They were all about the health and welfare and we couldn't be more pleased. Highly recommend having them watch your pup! We definitely will! Thanks again Chris and Ellen!

Schedule
Chris has a rotating work schedule, and depending on your needs is very available certain days and nights. He would love to help you with your pet care needs as long as he is off-duty that day or days.

Safety, trust & environment
We have a fenced in yard with a lot of space to run around. Inside we have a double crate - Whitley uses one side and the other side is currently available. They would be separated but close to each other. Whitley is generally out of the crate while we are home but can be kept in one gated room if needed. We are willing to adapt to your needs when caring for your pet.
Pets
A typical day
We can be very flexible for your needs. High energy and lots of running around, no problem. More low-key and chilling is totally fine too!
