Know I never allow my dogs to meet/greet strangers unless I am 100% sure my dogs are safe. So normally, never just to be safe. My main focus is taking care of dog.
A typical day
The way I look at dog sitting: I get the workout, the positive love that comes from a dog and the many (some might say one sided) conversations and laughs I have with all my BDFs (best dog friends).

Pet care experience
I work from home and attend university online as well. So I will be with my furry friends 24/7. I never really leave them alone. When I doggy sit, I've always thought of them as my own while they are around. While I have them, I get to play with them, walk around and get my walks in, enjoy Netflix on the couch, and more importantly naps and cuddles together! When I walk them, I am always aware of other dogs and I'm always protective of "my" dogs, unless I know for sure the other dog/s are super nice. I love a happy dog. My partner can tell you I cry easily when I see a suffering animal of any kind, especially dogs. So If I'm doggy sitting, I make sure they know love. I work from home so this would be a great opportunity for me to make extra money but to also have a dog around. My two cats, Felix and Oscar, past away recently (they had a great 20 years!) and I miss having a pet buddy around. I've been a regular dog sitter for my friends (shout out to Jake the shy but awesome boston terrier, Kingsley the lovable and kind pit bull and Gus Gus the instagram famous french bull dog!) So, I know this will be a great opportunity for me.

Honestly I cannot think of a single way that Chris could improve. He is the BEST! He gave Marlowe his undivided attention, was incredibly communicative and observant of her habits and preferences, and also took great care of our home. We were gone for over a week, and that's a lot to ask of someone, especially when our energetic girl appreciates long walks everyday in hot July! Chris made it seem easy, which helped us truly enjoy our vacation. Marlowe will absolutely be spending more time with her new bestie! 🥰
Chris C. was absolutely incredible from start to finish! We received thoughtful updates throughout our trip, along with adorable videos every morning and every evening, which made us feel so connected to Indie while we were away. This was honestly the first trip where we didn’t feel any separation anxiety leaving Indie because we knew Chris was providing such loving and attentive care. It was obvious that Indie was happy, comfortable, and treated like family. We couldn’t recommend Chris more highly. Five stars isn’t enough—we’ll definitely be booking again!
Chris was a phenomenal sitter for our nearly 16 year old pup. He took great care with all of our dog’s special needs, was very communicative, and overall just a lovely human. We absolutely recommend Chris and will book him again!
Chris was simply wonderful. He was enthusiastic about the dogs, great at communicating and provided updates throughout each day that made us feel confident our three fur babies were well taken care of and adored while we were gone. I think that’s what I most appreciated: he truly enjoyed the dogs. We’re so grateful (and also don’t want to share him 😂)! Thank you, Chris!
