We were so happy to have Chris watch our dog while we went on vacation. She took great care of her and did whatever she needed. She is so kind and attentive to her needs. Never a worry when she stays with Chris.

Chris provided a very good care of my cat when we were on vacation. She responded to all my questions very quickly, provided updates and pictures. We came back to a healthy and happy cat!

Dogs will be treated like royalty!

I am a fun loving, energetic and responsible nurturer with lots of love to give! I have had dogs my entire life (boxers, soft coated Wheaton terriers, poodles, yorkies, bichons, etc.) and recently lost my Wheaton terrier Sammy at 13. I live in a condo with my hubby and adult daughter just a mere 15 minutes from a beautiful park!

Your dog will receive four walks a day, trips to nearby parks and playtime in ...

What Chris would like to know about your dog

A good friend of mine calls me a dog "whisperer". I've been told that dogs returning to my care start wagging their tails and get excited when they realize they are coming back to me!
Each dog/cat I come to know becomes like extended family.
I can host dogs up to 40 pounds and sit (at your home) for dogs up to 70 pounds.

I ask about your dogs habits, quirks, how they like to be touched, etc. so I understand them and make them feel comfy. I get familiar with the commands/tricks they can do as well.

When Chris watches your pet

I live close to downtown Highland Park and near Sunset Park as well. There are dog parks a short car drive away.

Playing with dogs and their toys is fun! I flick kibble or treats near dogs to get fussy dogs to begin eating! I talk to dogs using commands or words they are used to hearing and love to pet dogs and watch their eyes close.

Your dogs sleeping arrangements are wherever he/she is most comfortable.

When dog sitting in YOUR home, I would be able to care for dogs under 70 pounds.

I ask a lot of questions before I dog sit. Feeding times, medication needs, favorite toys and treats, vets phone number, how does your dog like to be petted/played with, what may frighten your dog, etc.
I am a communicator so be prepared to get texts, photos, and/or phone calls (based on your preference) updating you on how your best friend is doing!
