Although I am employed full time, I work evenings and am available weekends for the following: Housesitting: Available Thursday - Sunday; with full time attention to your pets including feeding, walks, runs, and cuddles. Walks or Drop-ins: Weekday mornings through midday, or scheduled with notice and good communication. Weekends anytime with notice and scheduling.

I've been employed for 22 years with the Port of Seattle with rigorous credentials and stringent background checks, here to provide trustworthy care and safe keeping of your beloved pet family members. I've also cared for my own pets, including end of life care for the unfortunate health conditions that accompany the genes of some dogs. This includes food and eating restrictions, and medication administration, even gently bringing our elderly furry friends in carriages to get fresh air and potty breaks if walking is a challenge. My friends and family also rely on me, the dedicated dog dad, for help with their own furry family members, including looking after their homes.

I have extensive experience with elderly and fragile animals, including administering medications, special food, digestive needs and close monitoring of their needs, if necessary. I am happy to keep in contact as needed for updates and reports on your pet throughout my stay.
A typical day
Every day is a good one with pets in your life! Communicate to me about your dog or cat needs and preferences ahead of time and I will follow those instructions. I will start each day with a walk or a run if your animal is active. Feeding, cuddles and conversation. Pets like attention and I am a good communicator with humans and animals alike. Most animals also like predictability and routine. If providing housesitting services I will stick with the schedule that makes your dog/cat feel most comfortable for a seamless experience.

I'm a dedicated dog dad (a dad and granddad of humans, too) with the wisdom, responsibility and love for animals that comes with each of my gray hairs. I've been a dog dad to 3 Boxers and welcomed Pitbulls to Chihuahuas and everything in between, into my life and home for over 40 years. I enjoy high energy dogs. If you're dog likes to run, go on walks or play/fetch, I offer routine and reliable structure balanced with lots of hugs and cuddles. If your pet enjoys slow walks and sniffs, I am there for it. Whether you require housesitting, drop-ins, or walks, I offer safety, attention and good communication. My goal is to provide such consistent service that your pets are completely at ease and when you return, it's as if you never left. This also includes leaving your home tidy and just as you expect it to be when providing housesitting services.

Chris was great! He was super prompt in responding, ready next day to walk Kain and did very well with him. Being that Kain is 180lbs it can be intimidating but Chris really made himself feel like they had been buddies for years. They went on a long 3 mile walk/jog so Kain was plenty tired! We will certainly use Chris' service again and would highly recommend!
Chris was an absolute lifesaver coming by for a drop in visit for Turbo today. He is so responsive and I can tell how much he cares for dogs. I will definitely make him my go-to Rover sitter from now on!!
I can’t say enough about Chris. Having him provide housesitting services for Turbo was a huge peace of mind. On top of his easy-going yet attentive nature, Chris seems to be a dog whisperer and understood just what my dog needed, which was plenty of attention, walks and cuddles. My dog is small sweet, but mighty and has a lot of energy and routine was the key. Also, he left my home completely spotless, and even took care of some leaves that were building up in the dog’s play yard!!
