Pet care experience

Calm, balanced, happy dog

For the past six years, we have been fostering dogs and have welcomed 19 into our home, with stays ranging from a few days to several months. Each dog has brought its own personality, challenges, and rewards. One even became a permanent member of our family. Working with small, medium, and large dogs, we focus on providing structure, guidance, good manners, and essential life and socialisation skills to help them grow in confidence and adapt to everyday situations. Through this journey, I developed a passion not only for helping dogs but also their owners. This led me into dog training, where I support owners in improving communication and understanding with their dogs, helping them overcome common challenges and build stronger, happier relationships together.

Thank you very much to Chris for taking Luna for a nice walk at very short notice I got some good feedback with a couple of things I have been worried about on my walks with her .

Dog Walking • Oct 05, 2025

Chris agreed to take our dog out and feed him after while we were out for a few hours. He was friendly and turned up to the booking at the agreed time. He left photos of our dog and notes on how the walk went. We came home to a happy but tired dog.

Dog Walking • Sep 16, 2025

Chris walked my 3 year old labrador as a one-off, with relatively short notice. He arranged a pre-meet and arrived on time for both the pre-meet and dog walk which was appreciated. My dog was happy post-walk and well exercised.

Chris was absolutely brilliant with my German shepard dog, he was patient attentive and very loving. He went above and beyond to help not only us feel reasurred but also helping nunook with his behaviour and attitude towards new people. If I could give more than 5* I would, I would highly recommend and will be using him to sit for nunook again.

Chris is fantastic with our two dogs, one of which is very anxious and I was nervous having someone pop in initially but he put us at ease. The dogs like him and we get great updates on how the drop it went. Couldn’t recommend him enough.

I work full time for the ambulance service but work opposite shifts with my wife, so there's always someone at home to care for the animals and teen kids.

A typical day

Dogs work between bursts of energy and sleep. When awake: structured walks, find it games, obedience, play, but most of the time they just enjoy being involved in your day to day activities. A tired dog is a happy dog.
