A welcoming family home - A home away from home
Having grown up around dogs I really love their company. As a family growing up we had a collie x spaniel and in later years golden retrievers. At present as a family we don’t own our own dog but hope to in the future. For now we enjoy making friends with all your lovely doggy’s! I would be the primary dog sitter but our family is made up of myself, my partner and our son (my step son). He is 12 years old and has Autism. He is very gentle and loving and loves to ask if he can pet dogs when we are out and about and loves getting involved in their care during their stay.

Saffy obviously remembered Chloe from almost a year ago, and greeted her very enthusiastically. She had a good walk, coming home happy and tired. Chloe kept me updated about timings and sent some lovely photos.

Chip had the best time with Chloe and other dogs. We received plenty of updates and photos. Her home is very dog proof and lovely and there are plenty of walking spaces around. We will definitely be returning!
Chloe took fantastic care of our dog Rua over a long weekend. Rua thoroughly enjoyed her long walks and cuddles. Chloe was a joy to deal with. I was delighted to get an opportunity for a meet up before confirming the booking, and she provided us with great updates and photos each day. Schedule
We can be available for walks, company or overnight stays. We are around most weekends. During the week we can be flexible with what we can offer. Between myself and my partner we work in the NHS and emergency services. I work from home a couple of times a week and my partner works shifts. As a general rule we ensure your dog would never be alone for more than 3 hours at a time. If we can’t manage this we close our diary on these days.

Safety, trust & environment
As a family we enjoy being outdoors and would be more than happy for your dog to join us! At home we have a fenced garden and live within walking distance of the meadows/arthurs seat/blackford hill. We do also enjoy trips to the beach as well as crammond and the Pentlands when we can (and when doggy’s are happy to travel in the car!)
A typical day
We are an active family that like to get out and about during the day, whether it’s walks around the local park, meadows/links, Arthur’s Seat, blackford hill, the Pentlands or the beach. At home there will be lots of opportunities to play but also down time particularly in the evenings. We love doggy cuddles so bonus points if your dog loves to snuggle in the evenings but we won’t hold it against them if they don’t! Dogs are allowed on our sofa but we try not to allow them on our beds as best as we can
