Safety, trust & environment

I have a fenced in backyard with a dog door that will accommodate a dog up to 90 pounds. My yard is very secure, with wiring reenforced along the bottom of the fence for diggers. The fence is 6 feet tall the whole way around the yard. I shut the dog door and leave the dogs inside anytime I am not home. I also shut the dog door at bedtime. My teenager home is with me every other week, and with their dad the other week. I have a lot of experience with giving pets medicine, if that is needed.

Information Chloe P. would like to know about your pet

I have a lot of previous experience with special needs dogs. I had a completely blind dog for several years. I have had senior dogs as well. Please just let me know ahead of time if there is anything your pet needs that is out of the ordinary.

A typical day

On a typical day your dog(s) will be let out into the yard multiple times a day. While I am at home, they will have free reign to the backyard through the dog door. They will be able to play with my dog, Otto, who is pretty high energy. However, Otto respects other dog's boundaries, so if your dog makes it clear they don't want to play, he will back off. I typically spend time playing ball with Otto at least once a day. I typically take Otto on a walk once a day, and Otto loves to have a walking partner. Otto is allowed on the couch and he sleeps in my bed with me. I also have a dog bed in my room. I am happy to accommodate whatever sleeping arrangements are best for your dog(s). I do have a crate that I can get out if they are crate trained. If you don’t allow your dog(s) in bed let me know and I can put a gate up to keep them separate. And if you don’t allow your dog(s) on the couch, I will enforce that rule for your dog(s).

Pet care experience

I have been a pet owner for over 20 years and have been pet sitting and house sitting for friends and family for over 15 years. I am also a mother and have been a nanny for many years in the past. I take the job of caring for other's babies (whether they be human or dog) very seriously. I would love to be able take care of your babies while you are away and give you the peace of mind of knowing they are being welcomed into our home as another member of our family.

Chloe was great! She kept us updated and sent us pictures. I can tell that Voltaire had a great time and was very well taken care of! He found a short-term brother in Otto 🥰 Thank you Chloe!

Chloe always loves on Maisy so much and keeps an eye out to make sure Maisy is comfortable, as she’s an anxious girl. Chloe was very creative in trying to get maisy to eat after her dental surgery and was great about administering her meds. She always keeps me up to date and sends great photos. Thank you so much, Chloe! You’re the best!!!
