Hi I'm Chloe and I am Top of the Pups Pet Services! I have been an animal lover all my life, having had a variety of pets of my own over 29 years - my dog Harley for 10 of those years - and caring for pets of friends' and family when they have been away/on holiday. Sadly since Harley passed we have not been able to have another dog of our own, but I am still a crazy dog lady at heart, and hence why I would love to look after your fluffy bundles of joy! While I was furloughed I had a lot more time on my hands than usual and for me spending it looking after animal pals was time well spent! I am now fully licensed and doing pet care services full time, so I need at minimum 4-6 weeks notice, ideally more for boarding bookings, but will try to squeeze you in if I can. I appreciate other sections of the profile may indicate shorter notice periods but that is down to the limitations of how Rover formats the app. The earlier the request the better, so I can arrange meet and greets and go over your pet's info that I will require under my licensing in advance of confirming a booking. Please ignore the calendar on here for my availability as I don't tend to use it as my bookings/routine can vary. As my household is all adults (I live my mother and sister) there's no worry about being overwhelmed with too many characters to keep an eye on or potential accidents with children, and as we all have experience with animals, if anything were to happen, or I needed an extra pair of hands, I have their support available to help me. (At times when they are not free to help me I have 2 emergency contacts who are also experienced with animal care.) I am afraid I cannot take on cats in our home as my sister is allergic. Chloe is lovely knowledgeable about dogs and a very well rounded person. I could tell that they were going to have fun together! ? Marley was very happy to meet her and later walk with her. He will continue his adventures with Chloe later in the week. Thoroughly frcommend.
Wilf loves going to stay with Chloe and we love dropping him off because we know how much responsible and loving she is! He gets so much attention, love, plays and affection. We trust Chloe completely and love how great her communication is. Thanks as always!
Always a good (if slightly heartbreaking) sign when you arrive to pick up your happy looking pup and she shows absolutely no interest in leaving her new favourite home haha
Chloe as always looked after my pup with great love and care while we were away! So patient as always!
Chloe was very nice and our dog loved her and stayed there with no issues. She sent photos to reassure us that he had settled. Would definitely use again

Schedule
Currently I have regulars that I walk in and around my local area Monday-Saturday, as well a daycare dogs in my home. Where possible I accommodate daycare and boarding bookings once meet and greets have been done to confirm its a good fit for everyone.

Safety, trust & environment
I am DBS checked, have completed a canine body language, behaviour and welfare qualification, am first aid trained and have done many different dog focused workshops and courses. As I only take on a maximum of 4 dogs/pets at a time, this means your fur baby(s) will have all my attention for playing in the fenced garden, going for walks around the local village, and having lots of cuddles and fuss! Any size dog should not be a problem for me, assuming they are at their point in training where they are not excessively boisterous or pull hard on their lead, but we can always see how we get on during a meet and greet! I predominantly have pets come to my address for daycare and boarding - I have a fenced in garden and all dog related necessities such as beds, crates, toys, first aid kits, balls etc..( I also have rabbit and Guinea Pig necessities from many years of having them as pets). For walking services I normally come to your address depending on what is agreed in advance of the booking.
A typical day
As there's lots of fields and public footpaths around where I live I take the dogs in my care for long walks locally. At home we have plenty of play time in the garden, and brain games/activity toys indoors.
