Although I work full-time, I’ve structured my schedule to allow time before and after work for morning and evening visits, check-ins, feedings, and playtime. Caring for animals brings balance to my day—it’s something I genuinely look forward to and make time for with intention. Because I know how important consistency is for pets, I prioritize punctuality and clear communication, ensuring your cat (or dog, or other companion!) stays on their routine and feels comfortable while you’re away. Weekends and holidays offer even more flexibility, and I’m happy to accommodate special requests whenever possible.

A typical day
Every pet I care for gets personalized attention, affection, and plenty of enrichment tailored to their personality and energy level. For playful pups, that might mean walks, backyard playtime, or games of fetch. For curious cats, I offer interactive toys, window watching, gentle grooming, and cozy companionship. I also take time for the quieter moments—belly rubs, brushing, or simply sitting nearby to provide comfort and familiarity. Whether it’s sticking to a regular walking schedule, engaging in mentally stimulating games, or giving an older pet some much-needed rest and TLC, I adjust each visit to suit your pet’s needs and preferences. My goal is to keep them happy, relaxed, and feeling loved until you return.

This includes their daily routine, feeding schedule, medications, favorite activities, and any quirks or behaviors I should be aware of. I also ask about their comfort level with new people, other animals, and any situations that may cause stress—like loud noises or changes in routine. Health concerns, allergies, and emergency vet contact info are essential, as well as any commands or cues your pet responds to. For cats, I like to know their litter box preferences, hiding spots, and favorite toys or treats. For dogs, I ask about walking habits, leash behavior, and energy level. All of this helps me provide care that’s not just safe and consistent, but also comforting and familiar—so your pet feels right at home even while you’re away.
