I always make sure the dog is safe, and also trusts me when caring for other pets. I will closely follow each owner’s instructions regarding feeding, walks, and house rules, and make sure pets are supervised at all times. I keep doors and gates secure, use leads on walks unless instructed otherwise, and pay close attention to a dog’s behaviour and comfort. I maintain a calm, clean environment and make sure pets feel safe, settled, and well cared for, whether in my home or the owner’s home. I treat every pet with patience, respect, and the same care I give my own dogs.

Ahead of time, it’s important for me to know a pet’s routine, temperament, and any specific needs. This includes feeding instructions, walking preferences, training cues they respond to, and whether they’re comfortable around other dogs or people. I also like to know about any anxieties, health issues, medications, or behavioural quirks so I can adjust and make sure they feel safe and relaxed. The more I know in advance, the happier everyone will be!

A typical day includes a walk suited to the dog’s energy, time to sniff and explore, playtime, and lots of attention. I stick to their usual routine and make sure they feel comfortable and relaxed. I keep things calm, fun, and tailored to what each dog enjoys.

I’ve grown up with dogs since age five, begging my mum for one and promising I’d pick up its poo! And I have extensive hands-on experience, including caring for up to four dogs at once. I’ve had 5 dogs in my 20 years lifetime so I’m confident handling different breeds and personalities and have trained my own bulldog to do cool tricks! I’m the biggest dog-lover, reliable, and treat every dog as if they’re my own :)

Chloe walked my dog Alfie, a cockapoo, quite a few times and was always really reliable. She turned up on time, sent updates and pictures and Alfie was always happy to see her. I trusted her completely and would 100% ask her again!
Chloe has been our dog walker for our 2 cocker spaniels for the past 6 months. We couldn’t ask for anyone better! She is reliable, kind, and genuinely cares about our dogs like they are her own.
