Information Chloe H. would like to know about your pet

Please let me know if your dog: - has any destructive behaviours - is house trained - is good in the car - has any behaviours I should be aware of - is good with other dogs - is good with other people - is good with young children and babies - has any medical conditions - has any allergies - has any special routines or requirements

A typical day

A typical day is centred around the pet and their routine. That might mean a relaxed walk, a good explore of the local park, plenty of sniffing, playtime, and then some downtime and cuddles. I enjoy mixing things up depending on the dog! Quieter green spaces, longer sniffy walks, or a bit of a run around if that’s what they enjoy. Some dogs love a bit of extra fuss, others prefer calm company, and I tailor the day to suit them.

Pet care experience

Hi, I’m Chloe 👋 I’m a qualified nurse and experienced pet sitter and dog walker. I’ve been on Rover for over three years, and, before maternity leave, pet care grew enough for me to leave hospital work and do this full time. I built a really solid, loyal client base where I previously lived, and the only reason I’m now taking on new clients is because I moved to this area in September. I’m not new to Rover or pet care, just new to the area! 🐾 My experience I’ve grown up around animals my whole life and honestly can’t imagine life without them. Dogs, cats, horses, birds, small animals - they’ve always been part of my world. When I was younger, I volunteered weekly in a veterinary practice for three years, which gave me a great grounding in animal handling, behaviour, and basic medical care. Alongside that, my nursing background means I’m very comfortable caring for pets who need medication or extra support. I’ve administered insulin, heart meds, oral and topical medications, and I’m confident following detailed routines. I’ve also had my own medically complex pets, including animals with chronic kidney disease, and I cared for a dog with cancer right through to his final day. I understand how much trust it takes to leave a vulnerable pet in someone else’s care, and I take that seriously. ❤️ How I care for pets I’m calm, patient, and attentive, and I care for animals as if they’re my own. I take time to get to know each pet properly - their routines, quirks, and what makes them feel most comfortable. I’ve got plenty of experience with: • nervous and anxious dogs • elderly and palliative pets • large and giant breeds • dogs who don’t enjoy other dogs I only ever walk one household at a time, so your pet gets my full attention without being rushed or overwhelmed. And yes, I do tend to spoil them a bit (in agreement with their owner of course). I’m very much a puppaccino, let’s drive to a nicer park, extra sniffy, slow walk kind of person. I’ve always gone a bit above and beyond, simply because I care, and my previous clients really appreciated that their pets were genuinely enjoying themselves, not just being ticked off a list. 🐕 Dog walking I offer relaxed, unrushed walks tailored to your dog’s needs. I’m confident with larger dogs and those who need a calmer, more controlled approach. I babywear and regularly walk several miles, so I’m used to being hands-free and on the move. I’m not a strict clock-watcher and will often go a little over the booked time if your dog is enjoying themselves. I’m also fairly flexible and can often help with short-notice or last-minute walk requests, where availability allows. 🐾 Drop-ins Perfect for pets who prefer staying at home. Feeding, medications, playtime, litter trays, and plenty of fuss and reassurance. I can often accommodate last-minute drop-ins, which can be really helpful when plans change unexpectedly. 🏡 House sitting Available on a case-by-case basis, depending on the dog and the home setup. I’ve done plenty of long house sits in the past and am always happy to chat about what might work best. 👶 About bringing my baby From March, my son (around 10 months old) will be with me during walks and drop-ins. He’ll be securely baby-worn most of the time, which keeps me hands-free and fully focused on your pet. I only take bookings where dogs are comfortable around children, and if I don’t feel something is a good fit, I’ll always be honest. I’ve worked with my baby alongside me before, and most dogs take it completely in their stride - many actually seem to enjoy the calmer pace. 🩺 Medical & special care • Qualified nurse • Confident administering medications (including insulin) • Experience with chronic illness and palliative care • Comfortable following detailed routines • Good at spotting when something isn’t quite right 💬 Any questions? If you’ve got any questions at all, just pop me a message. I’m always happy to chat about your pet and see if I’d be a good fit!

Chloe was fabulous looking after my cat. She took us on last minute after a sudden change in plan. Chloe replied quickly to messages and even fit in a meet and greet before our holiday. We felt very happy and confident leaving our cat knowing that she was in good care. Thank you Chloe! 💓
