I currently work part-time so I can work around my schedule and check on pets after a shift. I’m free two days straight twice during the week so I can stay overnight if needed. I’d just have to discuss scheduling details with you so everything goes smoothly.

The first thing I’ll do is look for any possible ways your dog may get out and secure them so the won’t be able to get out. I’d also try to double secure a leash in the event of one clasp breaking, the other will keep your pet secure.

A typical day
I’d of course take them in walks and play with them! I’d want to make sure they’re both physically and mentally stimulated! And I’d go by their schedule, they could be nervous around a new person. That’s why I’d like to stick to their routine to make them feel more comfortable!

Pet care experience
I don’t have pets of my own, but I’ve taken care of dogs and cats from other family members. I also work as a caregiver, so I’ve had clients with pets that needed help taking care of them. I have experience with large to medium dogs, but mostly small dogs from puppyhood and up. And if you have a pet that has a strict diet you’ll be happy to know I am immune to their deceptions. I do have some experience with dog sitting overnight and I used to volunteer at an animal shelter, working with both cats and dogs.
