Before a booking, I like to know about your pet’s routine, feeding times, medication, allergies, vet details, emergency contacts, behaviour, hiding spots, escape risks, and any signs of stress or illness to look out for. I also appreciate knowing their personality, boundaries, likes and dislikes, whether they are shy, nervous, playful, reactive, or need extra space. This helps me care for them safely, calmly, and in a way that feels familiar and reassuring for them.
A typical day
A typical day with a pet in my care is based around their normal routine, comfort, and personality. I’ll follow the owner’s instructions for feeding, fresh water, medication reminders, litter tray cleaning, walks if needed, and any household routines. For cats, I enjoy gentle play, wand toys, brushing if they like it, treat enrichment, puzzle feeders, cuddles, or quiet companionship for shy and nervous pets. For dogs or other animals, I tailor activities to their needs, such as playtime, garden time, short walks, enrichment games, and company. My aim is always to keep pets happy, safe, settled, and reassured while their owner is away.
