Animal-Loving Nurse in Training!
Hello! ☺️ I’m Chloe, I’m 21 and currently working at Birmingham Children’s Hospital as a Healthcare Assistant while training to become a nurse. Caring for others has always felt very natural to me, whether that’s looking after people or animals… and sometimes I’m not sure there’s much difference! Animals have always been a big part of my life. My family used to joke that even a quick walk to the corner shop would take twice as long because I would stop to say hello to every dog I passed. Safe to say that love for animals has never gone away. Through visiting the Lake District I discovered my love for hiking and the outdoors. Spending time in nature quickly became one of my favourite things, which means long walks and outdoor adventures with your pets would be something I genuinely enjoy. I also love photography, especially photographing animals and nature. Capturing those little moments of personality in pets is something I really enjoy, so you can always expect plenty of photo updates while you’re away! I love spending time with animals, whether that’s playing outside, grooming dogs, or relaxing in the evening with some sofa cuddles. I’m more than happy to get muddy on walks, throw a ball for as long as needed, or simply keep a pet company so they feel happy and settled while you’re away. I also have a big soft spot for horses. There’s something incredible about caring for such powerful animals that are also so gentle and affectionate. As someone working in healthcare, I’m responsible, patient, and attentive to routines and details. I understand how important it is for pets to feel safe and comfortable while their owners are away, and I would treat your home and animals with the same care and respect I would my own.

As a real dog lover, I treat every pet I care for as if they were my own, and I’m lucky to have some wonderful references that reflect this. Your dog’s safety, happiness, and comfort will always be my top priority. I usually prefer caring for dogs in their own home environment, as it helps them feel safe, relaxed, and settled in familiar surroundings. I also have experience with dogs who can be reactive to other animals, and I’m confident in calmly managing these situations by redirecting their attention and helping them feel secure. I’m also very happy to follow your dog’s usual routine so they feel as comfortable as possible, and I love sending regular updates and photos so you can relax knowing they’re happy and well looked after.

Chloe was great with Larry as usual he really looks forward to seeing her and gets supper excited when she arrives. He came back from his walk very worn out and ready for his bed ! Amazing with dogs we appreciate all your hard work !

I think if you are a true animal lover, then your pet is family. This is how we feel about our dog Toby. Leaving him to go on a family holiday was very hard. Leaving him in kennels was not an option for us as I had visions of him being cooped up for many hours a day. Having Chloe come to our home to look after him, in his own surroundings, made leaving him that little bit easier, but still hard to do. We needn't have worried, however, as Chloe was an absolute diamond. A true animal lover herself, she looked after him as if he was her own. He had all the love and care he needed while we were away. I would definitely use Chloe again and recommend her to all my friends and family.
Chloe is an amazing dog walker who obviously really loves animals and takes her job very seriously. She’s kind, hard working, very polite and full of energy. I’m very lucky to have found her.

Schedule
I update my availability calendar each week as I work shifts as a healthcare worker. This means that during my days off I have plenty of time to give your dogs lots of care, attention, and company, treating them just like part of the family. Please feel free to message me if you’d like to book in advance or check my upcoming availability. I’m always happy to chat and help however I can!
