Hi! We're Cristian and Chinel. We're experienced sitters, animal lovers & dog owners. We are so happy that you're considering trusting us with your furry family member. We strive to provide a nurturing and safe environment - only taking on one dog guest at a time. As owners of a dog with separation anxiety, we know how stressful it can be to find attentive, knowledgable & reliable dog sitters. We'd love to put your mind at ease & give your dog their home away from home with us providing 🐾 24/7 care - your dog will never be left alone! 🐾 We are a married young professional couple who both work from home in the tech industry. We have extensive experience caring for dogs of all breeds - from shy/anxious dogs, to seniors and playful pups. We appreciate that every animal comes with their own quirks, so we prioritise taking everything at a pace your pet is comfortable with. Most importantly, your dog will be part of our family while they are in our care. As such, we would love to follow any routines you currently have with your pet to make the transition as easy as possible. We are passionate about positive reinforcement training methods & would love to be able to continue any current training you are doing with your dog. Additionally, we only take on one dog at a time, so you can rest assured that your dog will have a safe, calm environment & our undivided attention.

Another wonderful experience having Chinel and Cristian taking care of Bagel. They are always so considerate, communicative, and attentive to Bagel's specific needs as a pup on the anxious side. Very much recommend their services and will gladly book again!

Schedule
We both work full-time from home, so your dog will have 24/7 around the clock care (& you have the benefit of 2 sitters available for your pet's entire stay). We will never leave your dog unattended & they will receive multiple pee/sniff breaks throughout the day, as well as a longer lunchtime walk & an evening hike/walk/play. We are outdoorsy people and would love to take your dog on walks, hikes & adventures during their stay. We believe firmly in providing dogs with mental stimulation, so have plenty of puzzles & games for them to enjoy. Additionally, we have a range of comfortable nap spots from sunny dog beds to our cozy couches (fitted with a dog ramp) so your dog will have plenty of down time & space to relax.

Safety, trust & environment
We have a secure, 3-bedroom house & a dog-proofed fenced-in backyard that your dog is welcome to explore throughout the day. We have baby gates for the stairs, so dogs are always kept on the same floor as us to ensure they are supervised and safe. Additionally, dogs are never left without supervision in the backyard. For dogs that need it (like our dachshund), they will be carried up and down the steps. We also have airconditioning for hot summer days! We live close to numerous parks, greenspaces, trails and dog-friendly beaches so your dog will get plenty of outside time & physical exercise according to their energy level. Our dog, Benny, is medium-energy, friendly and respectful. He loves having other dog friends & will be happy to share his favourite afternoon nap spot under the sun. He also seems to have a special knack at helping more shy or nervous dogs feel settled in! 📸 We know what it's like to wonder what your pup is up to & that's why we prioritise communication with our dog guests' owners. You can expect plenty of photo & message updates throughout the day! Where possible, we'd love to set up a complimentary meet & greet ahead of your first booking so that we can get to know you, your pet & answer any questions you might have about their stay with us. Fit is the number one priority when having new guests stay with us; we want to ensure your dog has a stress-free & happy stay! Our Rover calendar is always kept up to date & we are able to take longer bookings with advanced notice. As we have our own dog, all dogs staying with us need to be non-dog aggressive & up-to-date on routine preventative care. All introductions are always done on neutral territory using parallel walks. While we have experience with leash-reactivity, we do require that your dog can be introduced to ours in a calm, safe, manner. This is to respect our dog's space and who we are bringing into it. A typical day
A typical day with us involves 24/7 care, plenty of sniff & pee breaks, lunchtime walks, mental stimulation & games, a longer afternoon walk and playtime (if your dog is up for it), & lots of evening cuddles! We both love training, & would love to spend time keeping up with any training you are currently doing with your dog (+ maybe even teach them some new tricks)! We have very flexible schedules and having both of us at home full-time means we can adjust our day to your pet's needs.
