I always follow the pet owner’s instructions carefully, including feeding, walking, medication, and house rules. I keep doors, gates, and leashes secure at all times, and I never let a pet off-leash unless the owner has clearly approved it in a safe area.make sure pets have fresh water, a clean and comfortable space, regular bathroom breaks, exercise, and attention. I also watch for any changes in behaviour, appetite, or health, and I contact the owner immediately if I notice anything unusual. In a client’s home, I respect their property, keep the area clean, and make sure everything is locked and secure before I leave. I will also send photos and updates so the owner knows their pet is safe and doing well.

"Before our first walk or visit, I like to know: any behavioural triggers (e.g. reactive to other dogs, strangers, or loud noises), leash and collar/harness preferences, feeding schedule if applicable, any medical conditions or medications, and emergency contact information. I also love hearing about their personality and favourite activities so I can make our time together as enjoyable as possible!"
A typical day
I love taking dogs on outdoor adventures — long walks in the park, letting them sniff and explore at their own pace, playing fetch, and giving lots of praise and belly rubs along the way. I pay close attention to each dog's comfort and body language to make sure they're relaxed and happy the whole time. As a hobby photographer, I also love capturing candid photos during our walks, so pet parents often get a little surprise picture of their dog having fun!
