I have extensive experience caring for dogs and cats through long-term house sitting as well as throughout my personal life. Over the years, friends, family, and homeowners have trusted me to care for their pets while they traveled, including extended stays in Australia, New York, and Las Vegas. In Australia, I cared for a Poodle and a cat for one month while staying in the owners’ home. In New York, I looked after a Dogo Argentino for one month. In Las Vegas, I completed two additional long-term house sits: one for a month with a Chihuahua and a large Golden Retriever, and another for four weeks caring for two medium-sized dogs—a mixed breed and a Poodle. Beyond house sitting, I’ve been surrounded by dogs my entire life. I grew up with breeds of all sizes, from Weimaraner's to Poodles, and have also cared for Cocker Spaniels, Schnauzers, and many mixed breeds. Friends, family, and roommates regularly trusted me to care for their dogs while they were away, often for a week or longer. I’ve also fostered rescue dogs until they found loving permanent homes. I’m comfortable adapting to each pet’s unique personality and routine, and I always prioritize their safety, comfort, and well-being while keeping owners updated throughout their stay.

Chiara took care of our two cats for a week while we were travelling. She was very caring and attentive with the cats and sent us pictures daily. She was also very accommodating and sweet in our interactions. We would definitely recommend her!

Chiara was absolutely great with my 3 month-old puppy! It was the first time leaving her alone with somebody else and Chiara really was reassuring. She was with her for two days, playing, making sure she had enough rest, and taking her outside for potty breaks according to schedule. I actually feel like my puppy loves her more than me now, aha! Definitely recommend Chiara for any dog sitting - if she could take care of my crazy puppy, she’s up for any challenge. Thank you Chiara !

I just picked up Marcel today and he was exhausted (which is GREAT!), he went on lots of walk, play his favorite games and did not want to come back with me. Something I appreciate and tells a lot! I felt really secure leaving my dog at Chiara and she was very easy to communicate with, send updates while he was with her and very accommodating with the timing. Chiara provided a fantastic boarding experience for our Pomsky over the weekend! Between a nice environment for him during the day, consistent attention from the hosts, and periodic updates about how our Pup was doing, Chiara gave me and my Fiancé the confidence to actually enjoy a weekend away from our puppy.

Schedule
I work remotely, which gives me a flexible schedule and allows me to provide pets with plenty of attention throughout the day. I can easily adapt to your pet’s routine, whether they need walks, playtime, feeding, medication reminders, or simply companionship. I’m available on weekdays, evenings, weekends, and holidays with advance notice.

I live in a spacious 5½ apartment that provides a quiet, comfortable, and pet-friendly environment. One of the bedrooms is rarely used, giving pets extra space to relax if they prefer a quieter area. The apartment has built-in air conditioning to keep pets comfortable year-round, as well as a large private back terrace where they can safely enjoy fresh air and sunshine between potty breaks. I’m just a 3-minute walk from Parc La Fontaine, making it easy to provide regular walks, exercise, and plenty of outdoors. I always follow each pet’s routine and the owner’s instructions to help them feel safe, comfortable, and at home during their stay.
A typical day
Every pet is different, so I like to follow their normal routine as closely as possible. We’ll start the day with a potty break and a walk, followed by breakfast and some playtime or quiet time, depending on their personality. Throughout the day, I’ll make sure they get plenty of exercise, mental stimulation, affection, and bathroom breaks. Living just a short walk from Parc La Fontaine allows us to enjoy safe, fun walks and explore new sights and smells. I’ll also keep you updated with photos and messages so you know how your pet is doing.

- Before your pet stays with me, I’d love to know about their daily routine, feeding schedule, favorite activities, any medications or allergies, and how they interact with people and other dogs. Please also let me know if they have any fears, anxiety, or behaviors you’d like me to be aware of. The more I know in advance, the better I can provide a safe, comfortable, and stress-free experience for your pet.
