My history with dogs began when I got my first dog, a Bichon/poodle mix when she was a puppy and I was 4 years old. Muffy was a wonderful dog who happily played with everyone in our large family. Over the years I've had Lab mixes, Golden Retriever mixes, and stock dogs. My current family includes lots of dogs, cats, a few horses, a couple of goats, and a cow. Over the years I've taken care of friends and acquaintances places when needed. It is in my nature to help others. I really enjoy feeding, watering, and taking care of pets and livestock. I have a good understanding from the house dog, to the working dog, as I've been around both. Please feel free to contact me about caring for any of your pets. Exercise, along with food and clean water, are fundamental for your animal to perform and behave it's best. So daily walks/runs, playing ball, chasing a laser light, e.t.c. whatever your pet enjoys are key to maintaining a happy, healthy animal.

Chia is amazing. We have a GSD & Belgian Malinois that need lots of exercise. Chia went above and beyond with their care, & sent us daily photos & updates. Our GSD is anxious & wary of people, yet Chia handled him great. We have struggled finding a pet sitter that can fulfill our dog’s needs, and Chia is perfect! She also did a great job caring for our elderly diabetic cat. Highly recommended her.
Chia watched my three pups many times while I lived in Twin Falls and she was amazing with them! They got 3 walks a day and always came back home tired— and they are all very active stock dogs, so that says a lot! She is very knowledgeable about many different breeds of dogs and does a lot of training/competing with her dogs, so she understands behavior very well. I recommend her to anyone in the area, especially anyone with active dogs!

Chia was phenomenal! I have 3 high-energy stock dog mixes and she has a vast property with ample room to run and exercise. She took my pups on walks every day and sent plenty of pictures, which I love. She has a lot of experience with dogs and plenty of other animals, so I felt super comfortable leaving them in her care. Definitely recommend her and I will absolutely be booking her again! 😊

Schedule
Pet care is already a daily commitment for myself, with several dogs, two cats, a handful of horses, and a couple of pet goats the chores are daily. I’m comfortable around all domesticated animals. Adding additional animals to my routine is nothing new.

Dogs Your dogs are welcome to be in and outside of the house. We have a large 3/4 fenced yard with a couple of welded wire kennels. Your dog can spend time with me getting chores done on or off a leash. If you’d prefer for your fur baby to be in a fenced yard they can spend time in a large kennel. If I’m at your place I’ll follow the routine they are use to. Cats I have a bedroom for your cat to wonder around in with a bed to lay on.

A typical day
Dogs We walk around the property and down the dirt road next to the house. There are great places to go for a walk 5-10 miles from my house. I’m happy to throw a frisbee or ball. Cats I’m happy to play with cat toys and provide a lap for your cat to curl up in.

- I would like to know anything that will make your dog or cat stay more pleasant and comfortable.If they are staying at my house please feel free to bring leashes, dishes, toys, beds, and anything else that will make their stay more comfortable. PLEASE bring enough food for your dog’s or cat’s stay. Your animal will always be fed, meals, free feed, however often you want them fed. If you DO NOT bring enough food they will be fed whatever I am feeding my Dogs which may include the brands, Diamond, Eukanuba, Zamzow, Nutra Nugget, Kirkland, Iams, a raw diet, and safe table scraps.( I rotate my dogs diets regularly so brands are likely to change. Cats- My cats are on 9 Lives urinary tract formula due to a urinary tract issue that will come to haunt me if I do not keep the cats on this food. Occasionally a bag of Iams or Purina One urinary tract food is fed. I do not go buy any special diets for your pet unless you give me money upfront to do so. This needs to be planned prior to your pets visit so that I have time to pick up the food.
