With 18+ years loving dogs and nearly 10 with cats, I’ll care for your pets like family while following their routines and instructions closely. I know every pet has their own personality and routine, so I’m happy to follow your instructions closely to help them feel safe and comfortable. For walks, I’ll make sure your dog gets plenty of exercise, attention, and time to sniff and explore at their own pace. During drop-in visits, I can handle feeding, fresh water, potty breaks, litter box care, playtime, medications when appropriate, and plenty of love and attention. I’ll also keep you updated so you can feel confident your pet is happy and well cared for while you’re away!

Cheyenne is a close friend of mine and has watched my cat Oreo on several occasions over the past few years. She always arrived within the agreed upon window and stayed for a while to make sure Oreo got lots of pets and attention. All directions for feeding, litter, etc. were followed to a T and and she sent us update photos every time she visited. I would highly recommend Cheyenne as a pet caregiver - she is trustworthy, easy to communicate with, and loves animals.

Schedule
I have a very flexible full-time job in the Okemos area that allows for ease of stepping away to check-in on your pet! I understand that pet care doesn’t always fit neatly into a 9-to-5 schedule, so I’m happy to be flexible whenever my schedule allows. Whether you need occasional drop-ins, care while you’re out of town, or someone to check in around your cat’s established feeding schedule, I’ll do my best to find a time that works for you and your kitty.

- Before our first visit, I’d love to know as much as you’re comfortable sharing about your pet! Their normal routine, personality, favorite activities, feeding schedule, medications, and any quirks are all helpful. Please let me know about any allergies, medical needs, behavioral concerns, triggers, or things that may make them nervous. For dogs, I’d also like to know about their leash habits, how they react to other dogs or people, and any walking preferences or restrictions. For cats, knowing their favorite hiding spots, toys, litter box routine, and whether they prefer lots of attention or their personal space is always helpful.
