Safety, trust & environment
Having had sitters come to my home, I understand from firsthand experience the trust and security needed to feel comfortable inviting someone into your personal space and will ensure your home and pets are kept secure and safe while you're away. Being mindful of the heat here in the valley is vital so, working with pet owners is key to ensuring pets (especially dogs) are receiving their necessary daily exercise without putting them at risk of exposure to high heat or dehydration. I'll always do a 'palm test' to check for ground temps before taking pups out for potty breaks.
Information Cheyenne S. would like to know about your pet
Is your dog friendly towards other pets/strangers? Do they have a tendancy to try and escape? Are there any medical needs or dietary restrictions I should be aware of? How is their temperant when in a car (for clients who have approved outings)? Please let me know anything relevant so I can create a safe and cozy space for them. :)
A typical day
I look forward to taking your pup out for an early morning walk before the sun rises (during summer), followed by multiple potty and play breaks to keep them entertained. Following Rover's policy, we will avoid dog parks to ensure your pet has a safe and stress-free experience. Feel free to provide any preferences or notes for activities your pet(s) enjoy or that should be avoided for their safety.

Pet care experience
Are you looking for a trustworthy sitter to watch your pup or provide walks? My name is Cheyenne and I'm a pet mom to a wonderful 9-year-old husky malamute and three loving cats. I love rock climbing, camping, and taking road trips in my free time. I love traveling and exploring new areas. As an animal lover and a Real Estate agent, you can rest easy knowing your beloved fur baby is well taken care of and that your home will be respected and prepared for your arrival (i.e., cleaning). I look forward to meeting you and your special friend. :)

Reviews

Cheyenne was awesome! Khal who is usually standoffish ran to her the moment she walked through the door and forgot I existed. She went above and beyond and made sure Khal got his food and some playtime. Thank you Cheyenne for making me feel at ease while I was away!

Cheyenne really went above and beyond for my pet while I was out of the country. I am so appreciative of the attention and care she gave- she continued to care for my pet even when not feeling the best, and still did an excellent job. Cheyenne is definitely my favorite pet sitter to date and I definitely appreciate and recommend her!
Cheyenne is the best pet owner I know! She is amazing around her own dog and every dog she encounters. She is caring, responsible, can think on her feet, and is always looking out for the best interest of the dog. You will not regret having Cheyenne take care of your pup!
