Pet care experience

Vet experience = the best sitter

I’ve rescued over 50 animals in my life and through that found a passion in the animal field. I’ve worked in emergency specialty facilities as well as general practice, racking in more than 9 years of professional experience. I know and understand the importance of feeding schedules, medication schedules, walks, fluid therapy, insulin administration, senior care and much more. I also know what to look out for when in a possible emergency situation and can keep calm. Having been in the veterinary field also allows for direct contact with veterinarians, RVT, LVT and much more to keep myself and (you) the owners at ease.

Cheyenne is the best pet and home sitter around. Our fur and feather family love her to bits, and we always come home to the happiest household. Thanks again! 🖤🐾

Our dogs are so much happier being left home with Cheyenne than being left alone on event nights!! Thank you so much for your sweet care of our pups! And the old Bub cuddles!😉

Well, I almost don't want to let the secret slip out…but Cheyenne is the best house and pet sitter we’ve ever had! Such a professional! She took care of every detail and we were able to have a beautiful, relaxing weekend, knowing our babies were being taken such good care of. I won’t use anyone else!

Schedule

I’m currently working full time at a boarding and daycare resort for dogs. I am always honest when it comes to my schedule and will not allow a service to be booked unless all needs can be met. As the pet sitter it is my responsibility to keep your pets routine as close to home as possible.

Where your pet will stay

Home characteristics

Lives in an apartment
Has a fenced yard
Non-smoking household
Has 1 dog
Children 0-5 years old
Dogs allowed on bed
Dogs allowed on furniture
Potty breaks every 4-8 hours

Safety, trust & environment

I currently live at a beautiful dog friendly apartment complex which is gated. We have a dog run, and plenty of space to walk your fur babies. Pluto gets along with people, dogs and cats but mostly sleeps at my feet and won’t be much of a bother. Pet sitting in home, dog walks, and check ins will be accommodated as needed per client communication.

Pets

A typical day

With your pets stay or visit they will be loved and cared for as if they were my own. This includes but is definitely not limited to, belly rubs, ear scratches, play time with their favorite toy (or toys), long or short walks, long conversations creating stimuli for their “I miss my owner” needs, fetch, tricks for treats, going to their favorite park, or even making a stop and their favorite dog bakery for a little afternoon delight. My goal is to give your pet the best possible experience they can have without their owner.

Cats
0 to 15 lbs
16 to 40 lbs
Spayed and neutered dogs only
No females in heat
Cheyenne can host up to 1 pet per night
Essentially you’re introducing your dog to me. Share the in’s and out’s, what makes your dog happy, what usually makes them sad, what’s their favorite word or toy, do they require special care, attention, and or love. Anything that you can think of that will give your pet the best possible stay or interaction that will make it feel like home.
Each sitter joining Rover needs to pass a background check. And by booking on Rover, you can get photo & message updates, 24/7 support, and reimbursement for eligible vet care.
