Information Cheyenne F. would like to know about your pet

Please let us know if your dog has any medications, special routines, their favorite treat, and allergies. We have had lots experience personally with animals that have special diets and needs. Also, let us know if your dog has any major behavioral issues so we can be aware and not put your dog in any situation it wouldn’t thrive in. Also please bring any jackets (rain/cold weather), and bed if staying overnight. That way they have their cozy things. We got lots of toys to share but of course if they have a favorite one please bring that as well!

A typical day

We start our day at 6:00 -7:00am . I take the dog outside for a small bathroom walk. After we come back inside and I feed them breakfast and begin working at home. I use lick mats, enrichment activities, bully sticks, and toys to keep them busy and entertained throughout the day. We take lots of breaks to play and then take them out every 2-4 hours. Generally we do another small walk at lunch. After work (around 3) we often go to one of the trails nearby or just within the neighbourhood. In the summer we usually switch it up and go on a longer walk in the morning to avoid the heat. On weekends we sometimes go to local trails for a change of scenery. Of course this will always be approved with the owners. We will definitely send pictures and videos of the fun they have with us! Like we said before, it will be a fun time at their aunts!

Pet care experience

There are many things that sets us apart from other sitters: • Extensive experience (personally) with senior animal care and special needs (seizures, medications, limited mobility, etc). • Comfortable with large breeds! Although we have a small dogs and cat now, we used to have a 90lb Boxer Rottweiler who passed away at 13. So big dogs just means there is more to love. • We have experience with rescue pups (and have rescued several as well) who may be nervous or timid, and even reactive. We are confident and patient with your pets journey, wherever that may be. We also have fostered in the past - so we have an endless supply of patience. • A wealth of knowledge on canine nutrition! We make our own dog food from scratch (with guidance/approval from trained professionals). As well we are able to create enrichment activities for your pets that will not only tire them out physically, but mentally as well. • Your animal will get the attention of 2 people and will never have to be alone during the day because both myself and partner work from home and have a lot of flexibility in our schedules.

Puppy was a happy boy when I picked him up. Cheyenne and Tess were very communicative and sent lots of updates and photos. Thanks so much for taking such good care of him!

Pugsly just enjoyed another sleepover with Cheyenne. My needy senior boy can make a bit of a fuss when I first leave, but within 5 minutes Cheyenne had him calm and sent a pic of him relaxing in his favorite bed:).Knowing he is in such good hands and in such a comfortable atmosphere makes it easy for me to relax when he’s not with me. Thank you Cheyenne!😀🐶❤️

Penny loves to visit her friends; it’s a home away from home! She gets to stay close to our neighbourhood while getting lots of attention.
