A typical day
I tailor activities to each pet’s personality, age, and energy level. For dogs, this can include engaging walks, playtime in secure areas, training-style games, scent work, puzzle toys, and plenty of cuddles and downtime. For cats, I focus on interactive play (wand toys, chasing games), enrichment activities, window watching, puzzle feeders, and calm companionship—always respecting their individual comfort levels. My goal is to keep pets mentally stimulated, relaxed, and happy while maintaining their normal routine, so they feel secure and have fun while you’re away.

Pet care experience
I’ve been caring for dogs for over 20 years, starting with family pets and friends’ dogs. I’ve worked in a rescue centre and a dog boarding facility, and I hold an Animal Management qualification where I cared for the centre’s dogs on a daily basis. I’ve fostered many rescue dogs in my home, including helping severely traumatised dogs regain confidence and settle into their forever homes. I’m now a qualified dog trainer and also work with a canine medical rehabilitation company, so I’m comfortable caring for dogs with a wide range of needs. I have two dogs of my own and treat every dog I look after as if they were part of my family—patient, attentive, and always prioritising their wellbeing.

Reviews
Cheyenne is an exceptional dog sitter, I'm very choosy with whom I leave my two dogs as they're both in need of rather specialist care, I found Cheyenne to not only understand their needs and provide amazing care but she offered insight and observations from her animal behaviourist and dog trainer background to improve their over all quality of life, she's very talented and equally compassionate and my dogs love her!
