Pet care experience

Home away from home for your pet!

With over 26 years of experience caring for dogs and cats, I ensure the comfort and safety of your pet when they are in my care. I only accept one guest in our home at a time to ensure their complete safety and comfort. I am happy to accept two pets from the same household though. When home, we love to play outside, take walks, snuggle on the couch, and love on your pet! I also love to come to your home to walk or check in on your pets. As a homeschooling mom, my kids often come with me (with the permission of the owners) and are very respectful of other people's home and space. I will treat your pets as my own and your home with the utmost respect. It's always fun to play with pups/cats and give them some love while their owners are away! Our family consists of two adults and 3 children (ages 9-14). Our family dog of almost 16 years recently crossed the rainbow bridge so our hearts are giving our love to other people’s pets. We have an outdoor cat who is often on the porch/deck as well as an indoor pet rabbit.

Cheryse and her family are our go-to sitters! The whole family is super great with our two dogs (one who loves people and one who is fearful/vocal). She always sends lots of pictures and our dogs get a ton of play, attention, and love from her and her children! Can’t recommend Cheryse enough :)

Cheryse and her family is such an excellent sitter for so many reasons, but particularly because of how dog-behaviorally smart they are. They know how to approach and treat our dogs in a way that’s so respectful, understanding, and unique to their needs and wants. We have one easy dog and one fearful one and it’s so nice being away knowing that our dogs are being met where they’re at socially - which usually involves endless snuggling! Could not recommend Cheryse enough!

Cheryse was kind, communicative, and full of such grace. She accommodated my pup last minute and was so kind to us when we were delayed after a tire blowout on the interstate she even offered to meet us at the shop! I received many updates while away and her family were so caring to my pet. Cheryse asked great questions, was intuitive, and truly a find in Chattanooga!

The safety and comfort of your pet is my highest priority. As such, I would love to make sure that your pet will be comfortable in our home with our children. It's also helpful for the pet to know how to ask to go outside rather than being used to a doggy door as we don't have a doggy door or fenced yard. It's helpful to know if a pet is used to having free roam of the house or crate trained if I leave the house. We prefer crate-trained pets as their safety and comfort is ensured in a new environment but have hosted dogs who free-roamed while we were gone and were just fine too.
