Un-retired foster dog mom

Foster dog mom and dog sitter. Recently lost my beagle and miss pup time. I treat my friend’s dogs like my own and they actually encouraged me to start a profile. I like walking and don’t mind slow sniffers. I’m aware of squirrels and cats in my neighborhood and avoid them when necessary.

Schedule

I work full time but have availability evenings and weekends. Looking forward to long walks, tails wagging while sniffing and again meeting daily step goals.

Safety, trust & environment

I have a small backyard and shotgun house which I own. I can crate if necessary but if your fur baby is trustworthy, I’m happy to let him or her free range guard my house during the day. The window facing the street is typically pretty entertaining. I got rid of my dog camera when Maggie passed away but may set an iPad up, again. Meet n Greets prior to a stay is a must, my foster dog is dog-shy at first but loves people.

Pets

A typical day

We’ll cruise the neighborhood to sniff and sight see, meet friendly neighbors (both two and four leggers) on walks and snuggle after dinner until bedtime.

16 to 40 lbs
Dogs over 1 year old
Spayed and neutered dogs only

Let me know what your dog likes and dislikes. Are belly rubs a must? Can I safely wipe off eye goop and paws? Is he or she a treat piranha or a gentle pup?
