Hi there! We are Cheryl & Sean, and we are delighted to offer our home as a comfortable stay for your furry friends, which we fondly call our "FurBnB". Our home provides a tranquil and safe space, abundant with affection, opportunities for your pet to play, and areas for them to get some R&R. It's an ideal spot for your pet to feel at home while away from home, where they'll be treated as a member of the family. Fur-real! We know that finding a reliable pet sitter who will treat your fur baby like you do at home can be overwhelming. All our Rover services are customized to each client's unique needs. If you have a special request that is not mentioned in our profile, please do not hesitate to ask. Sean and I both have a lifetime of experience caring for dogs and cats (and even some exotic animals) of all sizes and breeds. You can trust that your pet will be safe with us, as we are trained in handling emergencies and have a strong understanding of pet behavior. As a pet lover, I genuinely enjoy capturing as many of our furry guest's special moments on camera as I can. We will always keep you updated on your pet's well-being and send plenty of photos and videos. We can't wait for the op-paw-tunity to meet you and your furry companion! Thank you for considering us to be your pet-sitters. Lastly, please be aware that we may need to adjust our rates as necessary for unique circumstances, long distances, etc.

Cheryl and Sean could not have been more phenomenal. They handled our zoo of two crazy labs and one ornery French Bulldog like absolute pros. They were willing to pick up and drop off in Leland, and all dogs came back freshly bathed! 10/10 would use again in a heartbeat
Cheryl and Sean were incredible surrogate parents for my puppy Blu while I was away for the weekend! They gave detailed updates on how Blu was doing including adorable highlight collages showing the adventures he was up to. Their communication was prompt and detailed including problem solving when Blu was having some tummy issues. I would 10/10 recommend Cheryl and Sean to take care of your fur babies!

Cheryl and Sean were absolutely wonderful to work with and took great care of both of our dogs for a long weekend. They'd never had sitters other than family, but Cheryl and Sean treated them just like they were their own.
Very kind to take care of my dog, although it gave them a little trouble they always treated my dog with great care and love thinking that he was well, worried, thank you very much they are good caregivers

Schedule
At any given time during the week and on weekends, either Sean or I, or both of us, are able to be at home. Our 4-year-old son, Elijah, goes to preschool a few days per week but will be around. He is a self-proclaimed professional Rover Sitter already! If your pet is good with kiddos, he will love on them as much as they will tolerate :)

We have always offered drop-in services but only recently started offering house-sitting. We promise to treat your home with respect and do our best to leave as little a trace of us being there as possible. We try to "Take only photos, leave only memories". Whether we need to take off our shoes inside or leave the porch light on, we will adhere to whatever guidelines you have.
Pets
A typical day
Our home is on a small, private lake with an UNFENCED yard. Let us know how to best handle outdoor time with your pet. We follow the sunshine (or rain, or snow...). and do not spend much time indoors so hopefully your pup loves the fresh air as much as we do. When not spending time in our yard, we frequent local parks, the beach, hiking trails, and all of what Pure Michigan has to offer... year round! If your pup is more inclined to recline, we can do that too :)

- Any information that you feel is relevant to giving your pet the bust, custom care is appreciated! We have a few key questions to ask each client: How is your pet around: 1. Kiddos? We have a 7-year-old son who adores all furry friends. 2. Cats? We have 2 older cats who tend to stay out of the way but that is not guaranteed. They are cats after all. 3. Unfenced yards? Does your pet need to be on a leash at all times, are they comfortable on a tether, will they swim in the lake? etc. 4. Other dogs? We do our best to host pets from only one family at a time to provide the most comfortable stay possible, but there may be exceptions due to family visiting or overlapping stays. We will always get your approval beforehand and will make other arrangements if it is not in your pet's best interest.
