I bring intersectional experience from a wide variety of professions into your home. I have 30 years of experience in animal care, home security (non-firearm), and cybersecurity. I began working in the field with animals 15 years ago, beginning in the cat shelter system and moving my way up through dog bathing and grooming. I have served in the field of homestay pet care and property oversee all over the USA and internationally. I work remotely and will be on-site with your animals in the level of need you have, including 24/7 if I will be supplied (organic primal diet) or can order food and supply delivery. I have raised a good number of kittens and one mid-sized puppy from 4 weeks old (in the woods no less). I'm comfortable with any large or small domestic animal (mammal, fish, bird, reptile) given proper instructions. I am comfortable with horses (including feral horses), fowl, and cows. If you have cows that require milking, you will need to train me. If you have other farm animals, chances are I'd be just fine with them too. I'm a good enough "green thumb" to care for most plants, including orchids. I am comfortable administering insulin and subcutaneous fluids. I do not have a "smartphone" and cannot send photo updates, however, with your WiFi I am accessible by laptop via Rover at the level of access we negotiate.

Safety, trust & environment
Whatever safety measures you use is what I will use when with your pets. Leashes, doors, and other safety measures are always by your prescription or at a higher security level. Barring an emergency, I will not allow other people into your home without your invitation.

Cheryl was amazing. We had peace of mind leaving our cat Roscoe in her care. She kept us updated with pictures and videos. Roscoe seemed very comfortable with Cheryl. She even watered the flowers and fed the birds. She washed the linens, which I never expected her to do. We don't travel much but when we do, we will definitely have Cheryl sit again.
Cheryl provided the perfect care for our boys. We got home to happy relaxed dogs. Simply amazing.
Cheryl watched our elderly dog 2 weekends in a row for overnight visits. She was amazing! She was great with communication prior to the stays, confirming with us both times on dates and times. Our dog can be crabby and Cheryl was super patient with him and treated him so well. She sent lots of pictures and updates to let us know everything was well. We were so lucky to get Cheryl on short notice and we truly appreciate her kindness and professionalism with our dog. I wouldn't hesitate to book her again.
Our pets were in good hands with Cheryl! She took excellent care of our dog, cat, and guinea pigs over Christmas. Ziggy in particular was sad to see her go.
Cheryl was excellent. She cared for Banzai our pug while we were out of town for several days. I would recommend Cheryl to anyone in need of a dog walker / sitter.
