As I have a reactive dog in my home, I am unable to provide boarding. I offer pet sitting in the owner’s home and always take time beforehand to understand each pets individual needs. This includes feeding, walk schedules, medical needs, allergies, behaviour, triggers, and any reactivity considerations. I aim to maintain each dog’s usual routine so they feel safe and comfortable while their owner is away. Regular updates provided to the owner with preferred method of contact 🐶😺

Information Cheryl M. would like to know about your pet

Before your booking, it would be really helpful to know: • Whether your pet is on any medication (including how and when it's given) 💊 • Their usual feeding routine and any dietary requirements 🥣 • Where your dog normally sleeps 💤 • Whether they can be left alone and, if so, for how long. If they require 24/7 care, please let me know in advance. 🏡 • Whether they're reactive and, if so, what their triggers are 🐕 • Whether they wear a muzzle (please provide one if needed) • Any bite history involving people or other animals • Any sensitivities, dislikes, or handling preferences (for example, not liking certain areas being touched) 💛 • Their typical personality and behaviour • Any allergies or medical conditions • If you have more than one dog, whether they are walked together or separately • Whether they're allowed off lead and how reliable their recall is 🦮 • Whether they can have treats and if there are any favourites or restrictions 🦴 • How they are with baths or being cleaned up after muddy walks! 🛁🐾

A typical day

Every dog is different, so I always tailor their day to suit their age, energy levels, and routine. A typical day may include: • Walks around local parks and the surrounding area 🐾 • Playtime, including fetch, tuggy, enrichment games, and plenty of fuss 💛• Fresh food and water provided according to your dog's usual routine • Owner-approved treats (or your own, if preferred!) 🦴 • Trips further afield in my car for walks or outings, with your permission and only if your dog is comfortable travelling 🚗

Pet care experience

Hi everyone! 👋🐾 I've been around dogs since I was 5 years old and have experience with a variety of breeds, from Dalmatians and Staffies to Lurchers. I have experience caring for dogs of all sizes and personalities, including reactive dogs, dogs who wear muzzles, and those with separation anxiety. I always take the time to get to know each dog's individual needs, ensuring they feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for while they're with me. 💛 I'm familiar with local parks and walking routes, and I have my own transport if needed. For your peace of mind, I'm fully insured through Pet Business Insurance, hold a recent DBS check, and I'm qualified in Pet First Aid. 🐶 If you have any questions or would like to know more, please don't hesitate to send me a message—I'd be happy to chat! Please note: My standard rates are based on care around my regular working hours. If your dog requires continuous one-to-one care due to separation anxiety, medical needs, or other circumstances, this can be arranged with advance notice. Constant Care: From £50 per day, in addition to my standard sitting rate. This service is for dogs who cannot be left alone at any time and requires me to dedicate my full attention to your pet throughout the day. Please pop me a message to discuss your dog's individual requirements. 🐾
