Information Cheryl L. would like to know about your pet

How does your dog do on walks? Is your pup reactive on the leash or have a strong prey drive? Does your dog have separation anxiety? Is your dog crate trained?

A typical day

I love to walk your dog around your neighborhood or on the greenbelt and at parks if nearby. I enjoy play in your backyard, teaching obedience skills or tricks, and challenging dogs as well. A tired dog is a happy dog. I like to offer that during my time with your pup.

Pet care experience

I have always loved animals and would walk my neighbors' dogs as a kid. In high school, I house sat for friends and cared for their pets of all varieties.I have cared for birds, hamsters, turtles, sugar gliders, lizards, geckos, fish and gerbils as well. I worked at a pet store for a little over a year. My parents had two lab mixes that I often cared for and I have my own dogs. I am reliable, responsible, honest and gentle with animals. I am a stay at home mom of three boys ages 10 and older. They all love dogs as well and are good with them. My boys will be helping me on occasion when it’s a good fit with your pup. I am unable to care for cats due to a cat allergy. I am a stay at home mom so I am around often to give potty breaks and attention to your pup. I have a very flexible schedule with 3 boys who like to help and a husband who also has a very flexible schedule with work. Someone is always home to give your pet attention and love. I have a fenced yard and a friendly pup that likes to play to keep your pup(s) company. I can easily crate your dog if needed. I love to go for walks in the neighborhood or nearby trails. I like to do scent puzzles and work on basic obedience skills with the pups as well as keep them on their schedule and load them up with love and petting. About the services: Boarding: overnight fees are for a 24 hours stay; additional hours/ late pick ups will incur additional fees ($3 per hour). Day care: hours are between 8am-6pm; before or after hours will incur additional fees ($3 per hour) I can accommodate dogs up to 80lbs in size.

Cheryl is the best. My two boys, Cooper and Murphy love her. Murphy is a bit of a shy nervous boy with everyone but came around quickly with Cheryl. Cooper loves everyone so that was an easy win. Cheryl works with my random work schedule and is available within 24 or 48hours notice. It is greatly appreciated and eases the stress of one less thing to worry about. Will be using Her services for the months to come. Thanks again for what you do!

We chose Cheryl based upon a recommendation of a friend. After researching another boarding place for our trip we were very concerned about playtime for our 4 month old Cavapoo, Charlie. As soon as we met Cheryl we realized her calming spirit. She has a passion for pups and as a trainer she taught our puppy invaluable lessons. Charlie had a great time with Cheryl’s own dogs Ty and Mabel, and was treated like part of the family. Charlie will soon be seeing Cheryl for more training and Cheryl is our first choice for boarding again. Thanks Cheryl
