Absolute lover of animals
I have had many dogs since I was a kid. As an adult, I have had 5 dogs over the years. They have always been adopted from a shelter or rescue group, plus one dog from an elderly friend. I have adopted 2 puppies and the others were several years old when they were adopted. I love their companionship. I walk our current dog as many days/week as possible. She is my travel buddy! I have crate-trained the puppies and provided as much love and care as possible for our senior dogs, including providing medication. My animals are my children and are very spoiled!

I have a fairly large fenced yard for running and playing. Trees for observing the squirrels! There are 2 outside cats that do not really mind other dogs. My dog has done very well with other dogs as long as they are not aggressive or too big. I also live in a nice neighborhood where dogs can be walked, including a nice, wooded area with a great trail for walking. I also live close to Eagle Creek park where dogs could be walked.

Cheryl was available at the last minute to drop in for a visit for my dog, saved the day! She is gentle with my dog. Will book again.

"I’ve trusted Cheryl with my cat and dog multiple times over the past 10+ years, and she is truly exceptional. It is so rare to find someone who genuinely loves and understands both cats and dogs equally and Cheryl is truly that person! Not only is she highly responsible, but her communication is fantastic—I always get the perfect amount of updates and photos, which gives me such peace of mind while I'm away. My pets are always happy, content, and well-loved when I get home. I couldn’t ask for a better sitter!"
My dog, Scout, is a huge part of my life. He started off as an unwanted puppy who spent time in a Kennel ( Jail) but since I found him, he’s been spoiled with the love and care he deserves. Because of his history in the shelter, I really hate the idea of putting him back in a kennel when I travel. Even if he wouldn’t remember it, I definitely would. When family isn’t available, Cheryl is my go to. She’s one of those people who truly loves animals, and it shows. When Scout is with her, I never have to worry about whether he’s getting enough attention or care. He always comes home happy, and honestly, I think he has just as much fun at Cheryl’s as he does at home. Cheryl always goes above and beyond to make sure Scout is safe, happy, and comfortable. She has a great space for playtime (and an impressive ability to throw a ball), but what really matters to me is how safe and relaxed Scout feels with her. He knows he can curl up and snuggle just like he would at home. Knowing he’s in such loving, caring hands makes traveling so much easier for me.
I highly recommend Cheryl. She has taken care of our two dogs when we have gone out of town. She spoiled them with attention and play, and kept us updated with notes and photos. We hope Cheryl will be able to help us again when we go out of town. I trust Cheryl completely and know our dogs won’t miss us when they are with her. 😊
I highly recommend Cheryl for helping you with your pets. She's a good friend and over the years we have helped each other out with our pets when we were out of town. She has always been reliable and went above and beyond whenever she came by to help me with my cat or my dogs.
Cheryl has always been an animal lover. She currently has 1 dog and 3 cats of her own. She takes her dog on daily walks to the local park. She also has worked hard in catching feral cats in her neighborhood and then taking them to the vet to be spayed or neutered. She frequently has taken care of my dogs when I go on vacation. Any pet in her care would be well taken care of and spoiled!

I'm currently unemployed so available pretty much any time to care for animals. Once I find a full-time job, my schedule may change a bit but if my job is remote then I would have a lot of flexibility to care for the animals.
