Information Cheryl G. would like to know about your pet

So that your dog has the best experience while in my care, it would be ideal for me to know all about them! Routines for feeding, medication, walking and potty breaks are key. If there are any particular issues like dog aggression or fearfulness, being aware will help me to prepare in advance and avoid troublesome situations. If there are any particular things that your dog loves, that’s just as important for me to know!

A typical day

I tailor fun experiences based on what each dog likes to do. This could be taking them to a particular trail that they like to walk on or taking them to your local dog park or throwing the ball in your backyard.

25 years experience of dog handling

Pet care experience

My life has included dogs for as long I can remember and I have always seemed to read them intuitively, including “problem dogs” that others have difficulty interacting with. I have extensive personal dog handling and grooming experience over the past 25 years and have owned up to 6 dogs at a time. I currently have a 10 year old Chihuahua-mix named Kitty but I have experience training and caring for Border Collies, American Pit Bull Terriers, Staffordshire Terriers, Irish Terriers, Wire Fox Terriers, Poodle mixes, Great Danes, and a Wolf-German Shepherd hybrid. I am knowledgeable about canine body language and how to remain calm around anxious/fearful/aggressive dogs as well as how to redirect dogs from potential conflicts.

Cheryl helped us so much with our puppy. We were having some difficulty getting her to walk on a loose leash and not bite the leash— Cheryl sent me videos of how she managed to train her to do both. Our dog obviously loved her and always seemed happy and pleasantly tired after a day when Cheryl walked her. It was great not to have to worry about our dog, especially since she was so young. I could always trust that she was in excellent hands with Cheryl!

My mother Cheryl is about as passionate about dogs as you can be. For the last 23 years of my life, Cheryl has been training and caring for dogs nonstop, and has experience in professional dog walking and at home grooming. She has never met a dog that she didn’t like, and dogs seem instantly calm and relaxed around her. Her love for and connection with dogs is deeper than most people will ever experience.
