Do they get along well with other animals? Children? Strangers? Do they have certain things that make them happy or nervous?

You tell me! I’m happy to do whatever your pet is used to…whether that’s hiking the trail, doing neighborhood walks, playing tug, or just cuddling on the couch.

Pet care experience
I have had cats and dogs all of my life (with the occasional rabbit, bird, rat, and fish mixed in). I have also volunteered at animal shelters for a number of years, taking care of everything from feral kittens to special needs and elderly dogs. I am very responsible, clean, organized, and would love to make your time away from home as stress free as possible by knowing that your loved ones are well taken care of! I promise to treat your pets like they are my own, sending updates as often as you’d like. If you leave detailed care instructions, I will follow them to the T. I have reliable transportation and a flexible work schedule that allows for regular breaks (depends on location, to some extent)! Note: I offer 10% discounts for extended stays (> 6 days).

We were so nervous about leaving Grizzy for the first time, but Cheryl completely put our minds at ease! She followed our handbook to the tee, kept us updated every day, and truly went above and beyond—not just in caring for Grizzy but also in leaving our home in better shape than we left it. Grizzy had an amazing time with her, getting daily beach adventures rain or shine, and when we got back, he was so excited to tell us all about his new best friend! Cheryl was amazing in taking care of my dog and cats while I was away. She kept them fed and watered and even took them for walks regularly. I can't recommend her highly enough.
I can not say enough great thing s about Cheryl! She treats our pets just like the babies that, to us, they are! Thankfully our pets have never needed medical attention under her care, but it is comforting that Cheryl is also certified in CPR. Big thanks to Cheryl for giving us the peace of mind knowing our babies are loved when we’re away!
Cheryl is such an animal lover, I instantly felt comfortable leaving our dog in her hands. Our pup doesn't typically take to people right away, but he loved Cheryl! I really appreciated how she kept me informed throughout the day and cared for him as if he were her own. I will definitely be calling Cheryl next time I need a dog sitter!
