Home from home care in Elham Valley
Having grown up with Great Danes and Pointers my husband has always been a keen dog lover and we got our first family dog, Scout, a Springador, nearly 5 years ago. He is a lovely natured dog that loves company and so we often found ourselves looking after friends and families dogs as well. I am now fully insured to offer a home away from home doggy retreat so that you can enjoy your precious time away knowing that your fur baby is well looked after and enjoying their own little holiday in a loving and homely environment. If you would like, I am to send photos and updates to you during your time away so that you have full peace of mind and can see what your pooch is getting up to!

I have used Cherri on numerous occasions to day care or board our two spaniels and they absolutely love their time with her. They get lots of time in the garden, lots of games and lots of TLC. Both dogs are quite high maintenance in terms of diet and medication as they are getting on a bit, but nothing is too much trouble for Cherri, and she treats them like old friends and remembers all their little quirks! I know they are always in good hands with her so I can definitely recommend her services.
Fantastic! Cherri has looked after my lab, Hunter, numerous times now and was the first person we left him with for more than a day. She always keeps us regularly updated with photos so that we know he is living his best doggy life whilst away from us! Lots of walks and cuddles and nothing is too much trouble for her. Hunter always loves going back for another holiday! We would definitely recommend her. Thank you Cherri!

Schedule
I work part time from home so I'm always on hand to give attentive care to your little fur baby and they will never be left on their own. Limitless fresh air and cosy evening snuggles will be available!

Safety, trust & environment
I aim to give your dog a home from home experience... if they sleep on your bed, they sleep on mine! Everything will be bespoke to their preferences, which I will discuss with you in detail before their arrival. I want your doggy to feel like they've had a holiday and can't wait to come back again!

A typical day
My family and I are lucky enough to live in a detached village property and have a large fenced garden so dogs can enjoy all the time outside that they want. We have the beautiful Elham Valley right on our doorstep, quite literally, so we are spoilt for walks in the surrounding countryside without the need to drive the dogs anywhere. The Nailbourne chalk stream is just a couple of minutes walk away for dogs that enjoy a splash in the water. If you are happy for me to do so, we can also visit nearby woods and beaches.
