I work full time Monday through Wednesday, and am available for pet care Thursday through Sunday with flexible hours including early mornings to late evening.

A typical day
I look forward to taking your dogs on walks like they’re little adventures and playing fetch or tug-of-war with their favorite toys! I can’t wait to give your cat a cuddle, if they’re the kind of cat that likes it - but I respect that some cats need their space!

I’m a lifelong animal lover, currently with 3 dogs ranging from 4 lbs to 65 lbs, 4 goofy cats, and enough fish tanks to rival a small aquarium in my home. When I left the US Army in 2012, I started working with animal rescue organizations and it became a passion of mine. I will provide intensive home care to geriatric dogs with complex health needs, including cancer, seizures, tracheomalacia, and diabetes. I have experience with puppy training and caring for adult dogs of all sizes. I have also cared for cats, lizards, turtles, horses, and a variety of fish! Whatever your pet care needs are, I’m certain I can take good care of your furry family.

Cherish would be an excellent choice for anyone to leave ANY pet in her care! I have known Cherish for over 5 years personally and professionally. I have left my babies (dog and cat) in her care and felt 100% confident that they were in safe, loving, and compassionate hands. Like myself, Cherish has a special place in her heart for animals and would do anything for them! Not only is she amazing with animals, but also humans, so she is easy to trust and get long with. We used to work together in a mental health setting and I have seen her handle people’s hearts with the most tender of hands. She is full of love and compassion, and is intelligent as well. Anyone would be lucky for her to care for their fur, scaled, or feathered babies. She really will go above and beyond !
Cherish is an excellent caregiver for my pets! She was prompt, on time, and was willing to meet my little guys, Rocky (dog) and Bear (Cat), before I left out of town to get a walk through of our routine. They both loved her from the start. Rocky gets so excited to see her because he knows he’s going to be going for a walk. Bear is always at her feet knowing he will get loved on. Cherish does a great job with taking care of my boys. They are checked on, fed, watered, and loved on while I was out of town. Cherish really loves animals and you can tell how she interacts with them. I highly recommend her!
