I have been an animal lover and caregiver all of my life. With my passion towards animals, I continued my education in animal science at Brown Mackie College. I have 8 years of experience in the veterinary industry working as a veterinary technician. I enjoy dogs and cats just as much as livestock. I travel all over the region with my traveling petting zoo.

Cherie & her family are amazing. Almost too amazing, I’m pretty sure our dog is actually sad to be home & misses all the friends she made! This place could be the setting of a Disney movie, complete with farm animals & adorable kids running around spoiling their guests. To top it off, Cherie has vet experience & we couldn’t feel better about leaving our girl there!
Cherie is a very qualified and caring animal care taker. I first met Cherie while she was working at an animal hospital as a vet tech. She took wonderful care of my high energy/difficult dogs both at the animal hospital and while boarding them.
Cherie is one of the most knowledgeable and kind people I know! She is caring and responsible. I would trust her with any and all of my animals anyway!

Schedule
I currently work part-time, which gives me plenty of flexibility to care for pets throughout the day. I plan my schedule around each pet’s needs, making sure they get attention, walks, and playtime when they need it most. Pet care is something I truly enjoy, so I make it a regular part of my daily routine — whether it’s morning visits, midday walks, or evening cuddles.

I care for pets as if they were my own, making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while their owners are away. Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or yours, I always follow their regular routines — including feeding times, walks, playtime, and any special instructions. I’m attentive to each pet’s unique personality and needs, giving them plenty of affection and one-on-one attention.

A typical day
I love keeping pets active and happy! For dogs, I enjoy going on walks, playing fetch, tug-of-war, or exploring new and trails on our 20 acres. I also enjoy giving pets mental stimulation through treat puzzles and basic training games. My goal is to make sure every pet has fun, stays engaged, and feels loved while you’re away. Dogs sleep comfortably in our climate controlled barn with both heat and air conditioning.
